A perfect day out! - We loved our tour with Bill! It was such a perfect day, covering everything we could have asked for and more. Bill's knowledge and easy going nature had us enjoying our day from the beginning, the Stone and Wood Tour and the Distillery Tour were both absolutely fantastic. One of the highlights for us was the lunch at Barrio, which was made possible by Bill's connection to the place and it gave us the chance to enjoy the most delicious meal.
Not having to drive and being able to make the most of all the tastings and more made the day all the better!

Enjoyable, delicious and interesting day out with Bill from Tasting Plate tours - Enjoyable day out with the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Bill from Tasting Plate tours. Delicious lunch, gin, rum and cocktails, sustainable farming and beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend.

A chill and informative tour. - Stone & Wood tour, very informative and lots of samples. The Farm was a great way to spend some time in an area of Byron we would not normally visit. Bill was very knowledgeable on farming techniques. Lunch was enjoyable in a local restaurant and then off to the gin distillary. Another informative tour by a passionate tour guide after sipping on a Gin and tonic and a visit through their rainforest. Plenty of time to sample their different gins. A well paced day with a great tour guide, would highly recommend.

Great day out cheers! - Highly recommend doing this tour. We had already been to plenty of places around the region, but Bill’s enthusiasm and knowledge made it all the better. We did a beer tasting tour, delicious lunch and a distillery tasting. Great fun and value!

The REAL Byron Bay experience - Whether a 1st time visitor to the far North Coast of NSW or a seasoned traveller - you NEED to take a tour of the region with Bill and his Tasting Plate Tour team!
The "tour" (if you want to call it that) felt as if we were catching up with an old friend who had moved to the region all those years ago and is showing us around his backyard. From the fact-bombs of the area to the locals we bumped in to, to the quirky facts about each location we visited....we left the day with so many eye opening stories to share with our fellow Sydney-siders about the area many simply call Byron Bay.....although its so SO much more...and the best way to experience it all (the food, drink, art and culture) if you dont know where to go...is with someone like Bill and his team!
Do yourselves a favour - book one, book five...just head up north and experience the area through the eyes of one of the locals.

Gin junkies heaven, with a cleanser to follow - A great day out. Can’t think of a better think to do on a rainy Saturday! Informative in multiple ways, good food, gin & beer. Excellent value, just turn up and enjoy it.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide - Bill is extremely knowledgeable and brought us to different parts of the tweed region where we went to brewery and distillery, along with farm and art museum, wonderful day spent with him and will definitely recommend my friends who will be going to Byron region to join his tour.

Tasting Plate Tour - Absolutely the best value gourmet food, wine & spirit tour in the region. We were chauffeured in a luxury vehicle through stunning scenery to hidden gems. Our every need was met and more.

A great day out! - We enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the Northern Rivers region, taking in the production of local food, the art scene, local restaurants, the magnificent scenery and a local gin and rum distillery.
Bill, our driver for the day, was a fountain of knowledge on everything about the local region and was great company. We learnt so much about an area that previously we had travelled through without understanding what truly lay around us.
The vibrant food industry was a revelation and this was reinforced with a delicious lunch at Mavis’s Kitchen. We finished the afternoon with a tour and sampling at Musk Distillery.

Tasting Plate Tour - My wife and I had a great day taking in the sights of the hinterland, learning about the rich indigenous history of the area whilst dining on some of the finest food and drink the region has to offer. Bill was a very personable relaxed guide and provided a magnificent running commentary throughout the day. The chauffeured service was great and allowed us to indulge in the gin/rum and cocktails in style.
