Taste highlights of KI! - We loved our half-day tasting tour of KI - we were lucky enough to be a family of four alone - very knowledgable guide, each stop was enjoyable (wine, gin, lavender, honey and eucalyptus) and we came away with some local goodies! Very personal, friendly and highly recommended!

Half Day Tasting Tour was the best - Wonderful afternoon with guide Cheryl on the Half Day tasting tour. Ice cream, cider, wine and gin tastings included plus afternoon tea of a giant lavender scone with lavender jelly at Emu Bay Lavender Farm. Cheryl really made the trip - delightful company and a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.

An intimate tour with a friendly, knowledgeable host. Great value! - We were fortunate enough to have Cheryl host us for an afternoon tour. Even though it was just 2 of us, the trip went ahead anyway. There were a great variety of stops and nothing was too much trouble. Cheryl’s knowledge was exceptional and greatly appreciated as we were only on the island for 36 hours. Thanks for an awesome day!!

Gary & Lyn 2023 - A very enjoyable 5 hours was spent learning all about Kangaroo Island wild life & produce. It was such a bonus to have a very passionate local (Thanks Niki) show us & tell us the local history of this very beautiful island. I would recommend this tour.

Stress free culture and indulgence - Luis was our guide for the half day tour and it was a memory making, taste inducing, culture soaking experience. Luis has extensive knowledge of the island and culture while including a great sense of humour to the trip. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a stress free way to enjoy the day.

Relaxing time away - Very enjoyable and with a friendly coach driver.. Plenty of things to see & do. Wineries, distillery & honey maker were worth it.

A really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and see what KI has to offer - Thanks to Gary, our driver, who was very knowledgeable of the island and the destinations. We were fortunate to have the tour to ourselves so were able to set our own pace. We had purposefully not visited any of the places that were listed as part of the tour so were surprised when we almost went to The Islander Winery, which we had visited the day prior, when the tour confirmation advised that Bay of Shoals was the winery included. Fortunately, Gary was able to quickly adjust the itinerary so that we could go to Bay of Shoals. If I had a criticism, it would be that we would have liked more of a "tour" of the Eucalyptus farm on how they produce their products rather than just left to view the gift shop and also the lavender farm where we enjoyed afternoon tea but didn't learn anything about the farm or production. I would love to see the Marron Farm included in the tour - we did that the previous day, and it was really interesting and quite different.

BUYER BEWARE - NOT AS ADVERTISED - Picture of the scone attached sums up the only food we were provided on this “food” tour. We also stopped at only one winery. Some “food and wine” tour. Our guide was unaware of places that were closed that day, which led to several last minute changes, wasted driving, and further disappointment. Imagine our dismay when we passed by multiple stops that were listed on the description of this tour, only to be told “oh I guess they are closed today.” While we were the only ones on this tour, there seemed to some confusion within the company that day, which led us to work around another couple on a hop on hop off tour…which was a totally different experience from our booking. This led to us wasting time picking them up from a different place 20+ minutes out of the way. Overall, not worth the 260+ dollars (USD) by any means.
