- Topdawg Taxi and Tours - Our tour begins at the Kingstown cruise ship terminal. We’ll guide you through our capital city, Kingstown, showcasing and providing information about some of the most historic buildings, including The Central Police Station, The Financial Complex, The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, and our Cenotaph.
- Kingstown Market - We’ll drive through the bustling market square, where numerous vendors and farmers sell their local produce.
- Kingstown Methodist Church - Continuing through Kingstown, we’ll travel along the street of the church, locally known as “back street.” Here, you’ll receive a brief history of the Methodist church, as well as the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches.
- Buccament Bay - We’ll then join the Leeward Highway, now renamed the Nelson Mandela Highway. Along the way, you’ll see The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, The Victoria Park (a small stadium also known as Carnival City during the Carnival season), The Botanical Gardens (the oldest garden of its kind in the western hemisphere), our industrial area Campden Park, and finally the picturesque Buccament Bay, where we’ll make a quick stop for photos.
- Layou Village - A short distance north of Buccament Bay is Layou, one of the first areas settled by the French in the early 18th century. Even before that, the Caribs used it as a settlement, as evidenced by the petroglyphs found in the area. We’ll stop here for photos.
- Barrouallie - Our next stop is the fishing village of Barrouallie, established by French settlers in 1719 as the first European colony on St. Vincent. It was once the capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and changed hands between the French and British before finally remaining under British control. Located in Saint Patrick Parish, Barrouallie is the largest city and parish capital, known for its fishing and famous for “Blackfish.” The surrounding mountains have historically protected the town from volcanic eruptions.
- Wallilabou - Our next stop is Wallilabou Bay, where the opening scenes of the first “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl” movie were filmed. It’s a popular site for cruise ship passengers.
- Cumberland Bay - The Cumberland Power Development is the latest addition to St. Vincent’s hydraulic system, featuring a cascade of three generating stations served by a series of diversion weirs and pipelines.
- Troumaca Primary School - Shortly after passing the Troumaca Primary School, we’ll make a photo stop. This is an opportunity to photograph The La Soufrière Volcano, which stands 4049 feet above sea level. On a clear day, you can also see St. Lucia in the distance.
- Chateaubelair Police Station - Chateaubelair is a large fishing village on the Leeward (west) coast of Saint Vincent, located just south of the La Soufrière volcano. Often referred to as “Chateau,” it is the largest community in the North Leeward constituency and the fourth largest town in the country. Local attractions include Trinity Falls, Darkview Falls, and rock carvings believed to have been left by Carib Indians. For those seeking an authentic Caribbean experience, Chateaubelair offers natural beauty and friendly, genuine people.
- Dark View Falls - Dark View Falls features two spectacular waterfalls, one above the other, cascading down high cliff faces into natural pools. A short, easy hike through the rainforest and across the Richmond River via a bamboo or conventional bridge leads to the first waterfall. A more challenging walk takes you to the second waterfall, directly above the first. The waterfalls flow year-round from a tributary of the Richmond River.
- Buccament Bay - After enjoying Dark View Falls, we’ll return to Buccament Beach, where you’ll have an hour to swim or snorkel.

A wonderful experience! - Our tour guide was friendly, warm and approachable. She transported us in a modern comfortable vehicle with air conditioning. She shared her knowledge and history of the island and she was happy to answer all our questions. It was great to visit the villages en route and the views were amazing!! We were provided with water, rum punch and taken to a local takeaway for food. I highly recommend booking this trip with topdawg, the communication was good and we feel closer to Saint Vincent following this experience. We plan to return to this beautiful island 🏝️

A must-do, fantastic tour with an awesome guide - just do it ! - An awesome half-day experience on the leeward side of the St. Vincent Island in s small group of 5. Our guide/driver Norris was absolutely top notch and we got an amazing birds-eye view tour of this gorgeous side of the island along with an engaging and insightful commentary about the culture, the history, the people and flora/fauna of these beautiful country. The tour is set up to hit all the key highlights and viewpoints of the island in a well-paced manner, including a short hike and time to soak under the gorgeous Dark View Falls and the fun, quirky Pirates of the Caribbean set.
Norris was extremely solicitous to our needs, a keen listener to our many queries, and perceptive of each person's interests. He left no stone unturned to ensure we had a fantastic time with him. Not only did we not feel rushed at all during the entire tour, but he went out of his way to make sure we got to check out all the sights of interest to us, and he even made various bonus picture-taking stops for us. Additionally, he had us sample some delicious local delicacies as well as fresh fruits along the way, and of course, the shots of rum punch!
All in all, a wonderful, not to miss experience if you happen to be on St. Vincent.

Amazing views and cultural experiences up the leeward coast - Our tour guide, Beres, made it an absolute priority that we all enjoyed ourselves. He went above and beyond to show us the most beautiful views across the island, he was hugely informative and communicative about the islands history, culture and people. The waterfalls were spectacular, the pirates of the Caribbean set was fun, and I loved the fresh mango and rum punch! Thank you

Stunning falls and beautiful beach - Booked to see the waterfall and spend time at the beach.
Was disappointed that it took 2.5 hours to get to the waterfall as we stopped off at a number of beauty spots en route for a photo, and also was taken to see the Pirates of the Caribbean, where we stopped for at least 30mins.
This was a bonus if you haven’t been before, but as we had already been on this tour, was slightly bothered that we didn’t go straight to the waterfall. It meant that we only had an hour at the beach, with 45 mins waiting for food in the cafe.
I’m aware that St Vincent has very windy narrow roads and the terrain was difficult, however I think that too much was packed into this tour and should have been advertised accordingly, expecting 6 hours on the road.
The tour guide Kevin was great, full of knowledge and clearly loved his homeland.
We appreciated the water and rum punch he provided on a very hot day.
Maybe 2 tours were put together as there were only 3 of us in the taxi?

Water Falls and Beach - I enjoyed the flora and fauna at the waterfalls. Crossing the bamboo bridge was a little tricky but nobody fell off. J/K. It was safe. I enjoyed the stop at the beach. There was a nice restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed a barracuda on a bun sandwich and they made a delicious gin mojito with fresh mint.

Average - Crowded bus with no clear itinerary. This will be hit or miss depending on your guide but did not experience that tour guide wanted to tell us about the island
