The lake is 16 km wide and is a popular fishing spot. Batur’s village of Toya Bungkah has hot lakeside hot springs, known for its curative mineral water. It is a popular choice among trekkers to spend the night before hiking up Mount Batur in time to watch the sunrise. West of the adjacent Mount Abang is the secluded old Balinese village of Trunyan. It’s a place that’s known for its ancient burial traditions using an open graveyard. The Pancering Jagat Temple is an interesting site here.

Our guide will accompany you during the trek, offering insights about the volcano. From 06:30 - 07:00 AM, you will reach the summit, enjoying a breathtaking sunrise view. We will provide a breakfast of boiled eggs from the volcano, bread, and bananas.
Post-trekking, we will guide you to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where you can admire the stunning rice field landscape. You can then explore the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a place of lush jungles, Hindu temples, and gray macaques. The journey continues to Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a restaurant, followed by a visit to the scenic Tegenungan Waterfall located just outside Ubud.
