Awesome experience and beautiful views! - We had a lovely experience hiking Mt. Batur at sunset! Sari was a fantastic guide during our climb and also shared a lot of local knowledge about the area. The trail and summit were not crowded which we appreciated. The view at the top was fantastic and overall we really enjoyed. Definitely recommend!

Epic adventure but not for the faint hearted - This is really difficult - moderate/hard, climbing uphill is really tough, be honest with yourself ahead of doing it. Sari picked us up, with a quick drop off to a coffee plantation and then to the epic Mount Batur. Views: 10/10 Service: 10/10 (Sari was so nice and helpful) Difficulty 7/10 Worth visiting and no shame taking a jeep / bike to help with part of the trip up.

Best sunset hike ever - Hotel pickup and drop at exact time by Ketut…coffee tasting was fun and really good. Hike guide Alex was really good… he guided us up and down 1717 meters. Very passionate on what he is doing. He cooked us eggs in volcano on the top. Hike took 2:30 hours up and down 1:15 hours One should be fit enough to take this trek. As its not straight forward and easy hike. Use best hiking shoes as my wife slipped many times even with good shoes. On the top it will be really cold.

Skip the crowds and book the sunset tour - We had a great time with our driver Ketut who picked us up in Ubud and our guide Ryan who walked with us to the top of Batur and prepared there a nice snack for us! Thank you for this experience!

A dream come true. One of the best hikes ever - A highly recommended activity, much better than going at dawn. We were on August 15th and on the summit we were no more than 15 people, against the hundreds who go at dawn. The sunset is equally spectacular and the descent at dusk is very suggestive. You also don't have to wake up at 2:30 in the morning. We left Ubud comfortably at 14. The service was great, picked up and brought back to the hotel. The Driver, Ketut and the Guide, Alex are two super nice and pleasant people and made the hike even better. At the top is served a snack with eggs cooked in fumaroles! Obviously being an hour and a half of direct ascent to the top and an hour to descend is definitely a physically demanding activity and to do at the peak of your strength.

Skip the crowd in the morning and go for the Sunset - This was an amazing experience and we highly recommend. We didn't want to wake up at 1am and hike with 1000+ people so we went for the Sunset tour and at the top there was maybe 20 or other hikers. Ketut and the mountaineer guide were awesome. Our 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter handled the hike but it does get slippery in some spots with the sand on rock terrain. Really amazing once you are on top with the volcano steaming. It was getting dark when we were hiking back down and we were pretty tired so we paid for the dirt bike ride back which was also really fun, about $15 / person which only took about 20 min to get down versus 1 hour +.

Great trip - Yus was a fantastic guide, he was so accommodating to the different needs and speeds of our group regularly checking everyone was ok. He was really friendly and helpful answering all my questions and sharing knowledge. Took some great photos for us too! A great hike up topped off with tasty snacks including an egg cooked in volcanic steam! Thanks again Yus for a great trip!

Wonderful time. - I went to recommend this company for the hike but I’m not sure what happened to my previous review; it’s not showing up. But I guess the fact that I’m recommending it to my friend shows what a great time my husband and I had. We had done the sunrise hike which I’m not sure is available on this specific tour any more. It was exhausting but so incredibly worth it. Our tour guide was also amazing and took his time with us. One of the memories my husband and I still talk about from that trip.

Amazing day with Yus and Erna! - We had an amazing experience on this tour! Yus was an excellent guide, taking us up the volcano and then back down safely. He was very friendly and patient and also gave us some interesting information about the volcano. He cooked eggs in the steam vents for us and took some incredible pictures as well. Our driver, Erna was an excellent driver and waited for us patiently to drive us back to our hotel safely after our hike. We will definitely use her services for future trips! Thank you, Yus and Erna for an absolutely amazing day! Andrea
