Nice experience at Batur Volcano and Hot Springs - I always wanted to visit Batur Vulcano and be part of its beautiful sunrise.
Booked one day in advance and everything went just perfect if not better.
2.30 am we were picked up by the driver from Changu Umalas.
Around 4:30 we were at the meeting point, where were welcomed by our 4x4 driver named Soma.
Soma took us to the sunrise point. He was sharing interesting facts about the volcano, village and life around this area.
I was surprised by his phone photography skills. He made tons of cool photos for us.
We also had very light breakfast there that was included in the price: boiled eggs, toasts with banana, coffee, bar of chocolate.
The next stop was black lava rock field. Also very scenic place.
Soma returned us back to the meeting point and we headed towards the hot springs. Great experience there as well.
Everything included: towels, lockers and even a welcome drink. We were allowed to spend there 1h. I guess we could pay extra and stay longer if we wanted.
At around 11am we headed back to our villa. Drive back took a bit longer due to heavy traffic. Count with 3h.
Overall highly recommend this trip and the company. They took good care of us.
Remember to take warm jacket. In care you don’t have one you can rent it for 50k IDR at the meeting spot.

Great morning watching sunrise from Mt Batur - We had such a wonderful trip with Rosade and darta. It was a beautiful morning and such an adventurous start to the day. To see sunrise from the volcano was spectacular.

Great trip and well looked after - Very good trip. Driver on time and was very good. Got us there safely and looked after us the whole day. Keep your was fun. Fumes smell from the jeep, but that’s unavoidable.

Good fun! - Really good fun in the jeep with Wayan! Super good photographer - make sure you have plenty of battery! The natural springs were nice and coffee tasting was interesting

Highly recommend this activity and company who supplied excellent guides for all the sections. The massage was an added extra an - Picked up from our hotel by Suvruta who was spot on time courteous spoke good Engish and had a lovely sense of humour. About an hrs drive to the Jeep point where Agus drove us up to the vantage spot. He managed the congestion and tricky 4WD tracks with skill often apologising for unavoidable jostling which made us all laugh.
The Lava feeds were a grim reminder of the eruption but still fascinating with Agus getting us a great vantage spot, taking photos etc.
The spa was lovely and additional optional massage were the best we've had so far in Bali.
We even enjoyed the coffee tasting despite our jaded indifference initially.

Truly unforgettable sunrise tour! - This was an amazing experience that I would recommend to everyone
. Arman was a fantastic, kind and knowledgeable guide who really made the whole tour special. His photography skills were also incredible which helped us capture the whole experience.
The hot springs were very busy so we stopped by to see the lake but opted not to swim, instead the lovely driver took us home via a coffee plantation and warung for lunch.
I’d strongly recommend this package to anyone looking for something special.
Don’t forget to pack warm clothing and perhaps a blanket as it is very cold on the mountain before dawn. Also don’t forget small cash (10K per person) to use the bathroom at Mt Batur and larger cash tips for guide and driver.

amazing sunrise - we enjoyed our sunrise jeep adventure, both our drivers (Mawe and Mangko) was very informative, speaks good english and a great photographer. highly recommended to do this activity while in Ubud.

Once in a lifetime experience, definitely worth getting up early for - Our driver of the day Gus Jerinkz is very friendly and drives so smooth, we were picked up from Canggu at 2:30am and the journey was very smooth and quick as we fell asleep. The sunrise is stunning with Mangku Amen driving us by the 4x4. The photos he took for us is breathtaking! Highly recommend this tour!

Must Visit in Good Weather - Instead of a colorful sunrise, we only got to see the mountains covered in clouds and shiver in the rain. This, of course, slightly spoiled the overall experience.
However, I must say that our guide and driver, Gede, organized everything very well. He is a true professional when it comes to driving a jeep and also a great photographer — he helped us take some amazing photos. The light breakfast with hot tea while waiting for the morning was a very nice touch.
I recommend this trip, but for the best experience, it's worth going in good weather (though you never know in advance...).
