Mount Batur Sunrise Hike and Optional Natural Hot Spring is a combined package that includes a sunrise trek and optional hot spring soak or other activities in one day.
What are the highlights?
- Embark on an early morning trek up the stunning Mount Batur with an experienced local guide.
- Witness the sunrise from the volcano’s peak and explore craters from 1804 to 1949.
- Relish a well-deserved breakfast with a hot drink at the summit while enjoying the brilliant sunrise colors.
- Cap off your active morning with a soak in a natural hot spring and a refreshing coffee before heading back to the hotel (Optional).
- Add optional trips such as a swing, waterfall visit, and other activities in one day.
Upon arrival at base camp, receive a brief introduction and safety briefing from your guide. Before and after your 1.5-hour hike to the summit, you can relax in our Mt. Batur base camp lounge, the only base camp in the area with clean and comfortable toilet facilities.

Special - The tour was amazing. The driver Vixo came to pick us up on time and was very nice throughout all the trip. Answered all of our concerns and was helpful overall. The same goes to the jeep driver- if I remember correctly his name was Kelso (sorry if I misspelled it). We loved him. Would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to experience something special. Thank you

Great Batur Sunrise Tour – Smooth, Fun, and Well-Organized! - Great tour, everything was well-organized and comfortable. The driver Vixo arrived on time (even a bit earlier), and the ride was smooth. We watched a breathtaking sunrise at Batur, then went to the lava – an impressive place where we took amazing photos. After that, we relaxed in the hot springs with a beautiful view. The whole trip lasted from 3 AM to 11 AM, and we were picked up from Ubud. Everything went smoothly, we really enjoyed it, and we definitely recommend it!

Bau Belerang trekking - Absolutely unforgettable experience.
The booking process was extremely easy thanks to the great communication of the organizers.
We were picked up from our resort at 2am by our lovely driver Mel.
Our tour guide Mia was fantastic at guiding us up Bau Belerang ensuring our safety all the way up.
My partner purposed to me at the top of the volcano and Mia was able to capture every moment!
Highly recommend Mel & Mia as they're both very professional, informative and was great company to this amazing experience.

Great day out - As a solo traveller, I can sometimes be apprehensive when booking excursions, but Melta immediately put me at ease. She is very friendly and welcoming and speaks great English. Mel clearly explained the itinerary for the day, told me a lot about the local area and was always able to answer any questions I had. If you’re thinking of booking a trip, I would definitely recommend Melta as your guide

Great experience! - Trip was well organized and safe.
Vixo, our driver was very nice, had umbrellas ready for us and walked us trough the hot springs.
The other Jeep driver on the mountain also helped my elderly mom walk down the hill.
They do not take you to the top of the mountain but the view vas beautiful even though we had a cloudy weather.
Everything feels like a great adventure.
I would recommend the experience overall.

Mount batur all inclusive tour - Mount batur was amazing, the views and the guide. Hot spring perfect to relax and the coffee plantation 10/10! Even if you don’t drink coffee like me and my girlfriend, it was so good. Also, super kind driver. Beautiful morning!

Amazing Experience - Booked the trip with this company based on reviews and it turned out to be excellent. Jero Kadek Arcana managed the trip for us. He reached out a day in advance to confirm the pickup details and was very cooperative when we requested the pickup to be changed from Ubud to Seminyak.
The driver (Komang Suta) arrived before time and briefed us about the drive and the trek in general. We were the first ones to arrive at the base and were able to start the hike on time. He made us comfortable at the base and offered coffee/tea and introduced us to our guide.
Ayu was our guide for the day and she was really exceptional and was very happy to let us complete the uphill on our own pace and shared many stories with us.
She organised a quick meal for us when we made it to the top and the view from that point was really worth all the effort that we had put in. Highly Recommend the visit to Mt Batur if you enjoy hiking and can’t recommend this company enough.

Angenehm Tour - We spontaneously decided on the tour for two and were satisfied. The pick-up from our homestay went smoothly and conveniently. Our driver and tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a nice tour.
