From start to finish, Alex was the perfect guide — professional, friendly, and full of knowledge about the mountain and local culture. He made the early morning start so easy with his great energy and warm personality. The hike itself was well-paced, and Alex always checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable. When we reached the summit, he found us the best spot away from the big crowds, so we could fully take in the breathtaking sunrise above the clouds — it honestly felt magical. Alex even prepared a delicious breakfast at the top and pointed out all the landmarks around us, sharing stories and history that made the experience even more special. He also helped us get some amazing photos that we’ll treasure forever. If you’re looking for the best way to experience Mt. Batur, I can’t recommend Alex enough. Do not miss out! - An unbelievable experience not to be missed. Without a doubt best sunrise over ever seen and maybe ever will see. That made the experience even better was our driver Indra who was warm hearted and welcoming as well as our walking tour guide (who’s name I’ve forgotten)

Go and do it - Writing a bit late review, but it was amazing. We enjoyed our trip to Mt. Batur, it was hard to climb for non climb people, but it was worth it. We would like to thank our guide and a driver to do great job. I am sorry forgot your names :(

Amazing Mount Batur Experience with Wira - We had the best experience climbing Mount Batur with Wira as our guide. He was super friendly from the start, really knowledgeable about the mountain, and kept the whole hike fun with his chatty and easygoing nature. He was patient with our pace, made sure we were comfortable the whole way, and even took great photos for us at the top. After the climb he arranged lunch and coffee, which was the perfect way to finish the trip. Wira made the experience memorable and enjoyable from start to finish - I’d highly recommend him to anyone planning to do the trek!

just do it you will not be disappointed - just finished the sunrise walk my guide was Yus he was amazing he let me walk at my own pace breakfast was great and the sunrise was amazing my driver Indra was great I felt very safe driving with him all in all 100 out of 10 if you were thinking of going and are a solo traveller just go for it you will not regret it.

Well organised, challenging hike. - Pick up from Legian hotel was at 1.30am so be prepared for a very early start. We took off for our hike at 3.30am with our local guide kadek. He was very knowledgeable and knows the terrain like the back of his hand. He was funny and kept us entertained on the walk. It is a challenging hike with lots of loose rock and sand (which you would expect on a volcano) and is mostly up steep terrain for two hours. Make sure you wear suitable footwear. There are spots along the way you can stop and rest and even a few places to buy drinks and snacks. We made it to the summit to enjoy the sunrise but unfortunately it was too cloudy on the day we were there, to see anything at all. This is not the fault of the tour organisers and is just one of those things. You can’t control the weather!! We got back down the mountain around 7.30 and headed to the hot springs for a relaxing soak. This was actually really nice after the hike and worth visiting as part of the tour. We arrived back at our hotel around 11-11.30 for a well earned rest.
