• Mount Batur - Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5-kilometer-wide caldera, which was formed during emplacement of the Bali (or Ubud) ignimbrite, has been dated at about 23,670 and 28,500 years ago.
  The southeast wall of the inner caldera lies beneath Lake Batur; Batur cone has been constructed within the inner caldera to a height above the outer caldera rim. The Batur stratovolcano has produced vents over much of the inner caldera, but a NE-SW fissure system has localized the Batur I, II, and III craters along the summit ridge. Historical eruptions have been characterized by mild-to-moderate explosive activity sometimes accompanied by lava emission. Basaltic lava flows from both summit and flank vents have reached the caldera floor and the shores of Lake Batur over its history.

Our Mount Batur Sunrise Hiking and ATV Ride Adventure Tours is a premiere activity designed specifically for your Bali vacation. The journey begins at 01.30 AM from your accommodation where our chauffeur will drive you to the starting point of the Mount Batur hike. Along your excursion to the volcano’s peak, a knowledgeable guide will accompany you, offering enlightening facts about the volcano. You’re expected to reach the summit between 06.30 and 07.00 AM, where you can marvel at the breathtaking sunrise.

During the sunrise, we will provide breakfast, including a steam egg directly from the volcanic warmth and some sandwiches. Once the trek concludes, we will drive you to Ubud village for a thrilling two-hour Bali ATV Ride. This escapade offers an exhilarating ride on all-terrain vehicles along a lengthy and challenging track, passing rice fields, jungles, rivers, tunnels, and villages. Post ATV ride, we will conclude the adventure with a delightful lunch at a local restaurant.
