- Mount Batur - 1. We will start our hike from the button of Mount Batur at 3.45 am with our experiences and professional local guide.

Hiking Mount Batur is considered the most favored sunrise trek in Bali for several reasons. The journey not only unveils the allure of the Batur volcano, but it also offers the opportunity to get close to the island’s second sacred mountain and feel the warmth of an active volcano. Additionally, you can personally witness magnificent sunrise views as the sky transitioning from dark, to red, to yellow, and eventually blue.
The adventure typically starts between 3:45 am to 4:00 am from the base of Mount Batur, guided by our experienced team. Later, we ascend towards the peak of Mount Batur under the cover of darkness, armed with flashlights and hiking poles. The millions of stars above and the crisp, cold air serve as your backdrop during the upward journey, with the sounds of insects adding texture to the nocturnal environment.

Cannot miss - Climbing Mt Batur is a must when in Bali! I would suggest going slightly earlier and starting around 3-30am so that there is ample time to reach the peak before sunrise. The night sky was also decorated with stars which was something not to be missed especially if you live in bustling and brightly lit cities

Great Last Day in Bali activity - I did the sunrise hike on my last full day in Bali. It was amazing! Pick up was around 2AM in Canggu. We drove to the beginning of the hike and met our guide. He was wonderful and so incredibly helpful along the way. The sight up top mt Batur was amazing and we even had breakfast. I would highly recommend this company for sunrise trekking.

Mt batur sunrise trek - Mt batur is a very unique place. My guid Eko was very helpful and friendly. Made me some awesome breakfast on the top while explaining the Bali culture and the history of Mt Batur. The trek was moderate although some places it was steep uphill climb. My driver Putu was very friendly and made sure I had a comfortable journey from Kuta and back. I would highly recommend this tour company as Mr Joro is very much responsive to messages and very reliable.

Mt Batur trekking and Rafting at Telaga Waja river - I booked our tour with Jero for 9 friends and I (total 10 pax) and Jero picked us up in a comfortable mini bus.
There were 3-4 guides who did the Mt Batur trek with us and they were very friendly and considerate.
The view at the peak was well worth the near 2-hr trek. They provided breakfast at the top - generous servings of sandwiches, eggs and fruit.
Afterwards we set off for river rafting at Telaga Waja. We were split up into 3 boats and the instructors were always looking out for us. A simple lunch was also provided at the end of the journey.
Everything was well-coordinated throughout the trip and Jero was always easily contactable.
He was friendly and always accomodating to our requests. I'm glad I booked our tour with him.
Highly recommend him to anyone who's looking to do activities in Bali!

Jero & Made!!! Highly recommended Mount Batur sunrise trekking Guide! - We booked Mount Batur Sunrise trekking through Bali Trekking Tour Net for our first volcano trek. We found Jero’s number +62811904082208 on his site and made a deal for our trek. Very efficient!! We did it on Monday 14th March 2016. We were collected by our driver Nyoma at 2.00am in our villas in Kamuela Villas and Suite Sanur. The van was extremely clean and we felt completely safe and comfortable with him. Travel to the starting point about 1,5 hour and reached car park by 03:36 am, warmer greeting from Jero who waiting us for our volcano trek.
Our guide (Jero & Made) was fantastic and provided us with local knowledge of the area and information regarding the massive volcano Batur and surrounding landscape. We did few break along the way up, both of our guide ensure that travel up safe, comfortable for our fitness. They (Jero & Made) help us to reach the summit before sunrise, in every difficult part they always offered and hold up our hand.
At 6 finally we reached the top, the views truly awesome and worth the effort!! We got a glass of hot drink each while waiting sunrise and they making our breakfast with the steam of volcano. Bananas sandwich and boiled egg yummy :) :) :), thanks Jero & Made!!
Jero was a great photographer, he always help us and ensured that we had good pictures. During our travel down we observed that Jero & Made very environmentally conscious and focused on assisting in keeping the local area cleaner. They collect many plastic rubbish that we saw along the trail decent, he Jero also encourage his friends (Other guides) to collect the rubbish as well. We are very appreciate it and keep up the Nature! We are highly recommended Jero and team become your guide to Batur and learn more about nature with them, Thanks Jero & Made we will back soon.

Great driver, Great trek and views. Disappointing guide - The driver was fantastic and Batur Sunrise and the trek up was fantastic.
Unfortunately the whole trip was overshadowed by the Guide. The entire trip up I had to listen to how much other guests had tipped him, from his new shoes to his a $50 euro note. The Guide was negative the whole way up and constantly talked about how hard his life is. It was very awkward and he made me feel terrible. He shouldn’t be a guide.
