- Mount Batur - Begin in darkness with flashlights provided by your guide, illuminating the path with only the light in your hands. The initial segment is straightforward, but as you reach the midpoint, you’ll encounter a slippery stretch that demands considerable effort to conquer the peak. Upon arrival at the summit, witness the sky’s transformation from pitch black to deep blue, then to hues of pink and orange that gradually shift. Reflect on the two-hour ascent you’ve completed.
You can relax in a chair with a view of the village below, enjoying a warm beverage and a delicious banana sandwich with a hard-boiled egg cooked in volcanic steam, an extraordinary experience on your trek. After breakfast and a photo session, we’ll proceed to the main crater’s rim, then down to the lower rim, where you can feed monkeys, snap photos, and record videos.
