Absolutely worth it - Nyoman is an extremely friendly and helpful guide. We had great conversations on the way to Mount Batur and it didn’t feel tired at all. He will take good care of your needs including walking sticks, drinking water, photography. The absolute cherry on top is the picnic at the top of the mountain - you will be greeted to warm coffee / milk / tea and witness the amazing act of cooking eggs and steaming bananas in the steam released due to volcanic activity. The view from the top is very impressive.

Fantastic sunset hike - We really enjoyed our hike up Mt Batur. The views were stunning.Boiling an egg at the top from the volcano steam was a highlight. Our guide spoke great English and helped make it a memorable experience. Our safety was his priority.

Don’t miss out on this tour, it’s super worth it - I highly recommend doing this. Driver was great and super accommodating, responded fast and was early to pick me up and loved that he played good music. Our guide Tari was amazing, she made sure the group was okay, took photos for me, awesome to talk to and just overall a delight to be around.

Gorgeous Sunset Hike! - Went on the sunset hike and got some amazing views! One great thing about going at sunset is there are way less people, which was nice. Also, we had an awesome tour guide, Yus. He was kind, attentive, and took some fantastic pictures! There were a lot of flies in the beginning, but luckily they went away as it got later.

Amazing hike - All round great trip. Driver was punctual and collected us from the hotel, and guide Yus was waiting when we arrived. Walk took around 90 mins to the top and Yus supplied water and made sure both of us were okay on the way up. Walk is not hard, but loose soil and rocks and very dusty, but no issues wearing trainers. View from the top was great, and virtually no one else there! Very glad we chose the sunset and sunrise we were told is extremely busy, and this was much more peaceful. Couldn’t recommend this enough, we had a great time, thanks again to our driver and to our guide Yus for making it a great trip

Great alternative and well organized - My partner and I made the trek to see the sunset and everything was well organized, the driver picked us up on time from Ubud and the timing of the climb was correct to arrive early at sunset... Perfect view and it was just us at the top for most of the time, at sunset another group of 5 people arrived while we were already ready to descend. I highly recommend it, the view of the sunset is still great and you do not have to get up in the middle of the night to make a climb in the dark risking then finding yourself together with a bunch of people at the top. The route that made us do the driving is not the same as the bikes, a little more tiring but more direct and quiet (some of it is necessarily in common with the route also taken by the bikes). Note of merit also to the guy who has been our guide, despite his young age knows the mountain very well and was also excellent company.

Recommended - Excellent organization, Gusti very punctual came to pick us up directly at the hotel. the very prepared and trained guide took care of those most in difficulty, thanks on their behalf.

Beautiful view, few people - The sunset Tour was the best. We were practically alone on the mountain and experienced the beautiful view up there in peace and quiet. Our driver Intan and our Guide Winaya were the friendliest! Definitely would recommend!

Worth it even bit tough hike - Guna's guide was lively and took us safely to the top. The conversation was fun, so I climbed without realizing how hard it was. A 4-hour round trip hike is not easy. The view was amazing, and this is an activity I definitely recommend if you go to Bali.
