Embark on an easy-to-intermediate level hike that spans 4-5 hours in total. This group-based Mount Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek is designed for explorers who seek to marvel at the beauty of Mount Batur while sharing the expense. Mount Batur is Bali’s second most active volcano and is nestled inside an enormous crater that stands approximately 700m tall and 1717m above sea level.
The sunrise tour begins with an early hotel pick-up between 1:30 AM and 2:30 AM. You’re expected to reach Mount Batur by 4:00 AM, start your climb and attain the summit by approximately 6:00 AM, just in time for sunrise. Breakfast of eggs and bananas, cooked using natural hot steam, will be served at the mountain’s peak.
Post-hike, you’ll have a chance to unwind and soothe your muscles in a natural hot spring, located next to the scenic Lake Batur before returning to your hotel.
