Trunyan Cemetary with Wayan - We done our Trunyan tour today with Wayan. Wayan is an excellent tour guide, his English is fabulous and his knowledge of Trunyan customs was easily explained to us. A awesome lunch was provided with spectacular views of Kintomani. We also made a stop at a traditional Luwak Coffee Plantation which was very enlightening. Very unique and cultural based experience - The trip can be tailored to fit your time frame if needed; we went with about 4 hour’s available and they made it work perfectly for our schedule. The town and cemetery are both small ( like one stop sign town and family cemetery plots for US equivalent), however, the guide took his time to show and explain all aspects of the culture and burial ceremony. It was a very unique and interesting experience that can’t be found elsewhere. If you are interested in learning about a new culture and seeing something few people have I’d certainly recommend it.

Profound, intense, spiritual day - I never expected it to be so spiritual it was an honour for us to be allowed to enter such sacred places and secluded villages. Wi our driver was amazing such a polite and helpful man he didn't mind me stopping a few times unexpectedly and taught us some information about the area and temples that I was really interested in. Wayan our guide, and Trunyan village. THE BEST 10/10 - Wayan was an amazing guide, so full of knowledge and facts which we love learning about! Super friendly, funny and 10/10 beautiful genuine bloke!! The tour he took us on was seriously the most amazing experience… Trunyan villiage was/is, an absolute must do, the culture and the way the Trunyan people do things is different but beautiful. Wayan, thank you for making our day a truly memorable experience 🙏🏼We will definitely see you again on our next trip to Bali 💙

An enjoyable day! - An interesting tour - Something that has been on the bucket list for a while. It was fascinating to finally see the cemetery, and my guide gave me information about the rituals and Trunyan people. The visit did seem a little short though, especially as the journey was quite long. The waterfall in the morning provided opportunity for some great photos (my guide kindly taking some for me as I'm a solo traveller). The lunch provided was also very good! My advice would be to book some add-ons to this tour to justify the long journey. But all in all, an enjoyable day!
