Brilliant experience - I really enjoyed spending the day in the sanctuary. The animals are so loved and well looked after. We did the fairy walk with Emilia the pig. It was so relaxing and Emilia is the cutest. Mary, who was our guide is so lovely, informative and made the walk a very pleasant experience. She took photos for us with Emilia and also gave guidance along the route of when to take videos etc. it is really worth paying for the fairy walk and also you get a token for tea/coffee to enjoy in their very relaxing cafe!

Absolutely amazing experience! - I booked the Burren Nature Sanctuary (airb&b apartment) and the Fairy Pig Walk for my girlfriends birthday and we absolutely loved the place. Roy is such a lovely host and was so accommodating. Mary took us on the Pig Fairy Walk where we were introduced to Flora. It was truly an amazing experience. My girlfriend was in her element (currently looking to get a pig 😂). The walk itself of the grounds is beautiful and Mary was so informative and interesting. She also introduced us to all the other animals. We highly recommend for anyone to experience this beautiful sanctuary for themselves. They are doing such a great job and their passion and enthusiasm is there for all to see. A must see for all ages.

Magic happens here! - The flora, fauna, geology, hydrology, archaeology, pigs, alpacas, sheep, goats, horses, rabbits, exotic plant dome, cafe, bookstore, and play yard with a zip line are all so amazing! And there is nothing more unique on earth than a walk with a gentle pig through a fairy forest...you have to experience it to believe it. This place is magical for children and adults alike.

Something for everyone - 3 generations visited. A lovely lovely experience. First impressions clean and we'll managed. From the desk where we bought our tickets from a smiling member of staff who took the trouble to find us the best value tickets (family ticket as it happens!). Well signposted but not obstrusive, information dotted around, great for all weathers, dry under foot and clean easy to manage pathways for us oldies! Kids could get 'lost'! Bring a raincoat for the Irish summer! The walks were not strenuous and you could easily forget you were in a commercial place. Kids could run safely around. Ours loved being able to interact with and feed the animals. Then a gentle walk up to the 'disappearing lake' back via the eco bubble, and clean well kept playgrounds outdoors and in to finally wear the youngsters out! We sat and had hot drinks and cakes while they played, also had savouries available. Not your usual run of the mill catering and great value, did not feel ripped off at all.theres also a little shop with books and gifts of local interest. Overall a wonderfull afternoon would highly recommend for all ages and interests or none. Thank you BWS please keep it up, we'll definitely be back.

Magical Fairy Pig Walk - The Burren Sanctuary is a MUST for anyone visiting the area. My husband and I are big animal lovers and we had an opportunity meet llamas, goats, lambs, and of course, the wonderful pigs. In fact, we signed up for the fairy pig walk with Amelia the pig and it was simply delightful. Highly recommended for kids of all ages and adults.

Magical place - The sanctuary is amazing! We stayed in the airbnb on site for two nights and wish we’d booked longer! The place has a natural beauty and the wild flowers and plants are gorgeous. The animals were all friendly and quirky and we booked to walk Emelia the pig which was a highlight! Mary the host was fantastic and friendly, we’d love to visit again and would recommend to anyone!

Overpriced! - Way overpriced! Admission ticket, food and drinks all expensive for what you get. We should have known when there was no one else there, very quiet which says it all! Would not recommend to families with small kids. We have been to lots of places for families and all much better in terms of value for money. Would not go again
