Great view, NOT a day tour - This is an interesting place to visit. The architecture is very interesting, and they were doing a lot of restoration. Still, it is a very poor village. The people are friendly. The Newari food is great. I would not take this as either a half-day or full-day tour. Take a taxi up, have the driver wait for 30-45 minutes, while you look around (or longer, if you want to eat in a restaurant), then get on to other things. The tours are over-priced and drag on too long.
