Helpful, personable guides focused on making a good experience. - The guides were great. They did everything to help make this a good experience - offered extra weather appropriate clothing and boots. They also had wide angle cameras to use and continuous support in using them, taking pics, finding good locations in the dark to take the photos, making adjustments to the camera settings for novice camera users.

Great way to see the lights - I really liked this tour and would recommend it. The guide provided cameras. Gave us a lesson on how to photograph the lights and we went about 40 minutes out for a spot to see them. Because of the cloud coverage the lights were very slight to the naked eye but the camera could capture them beautifully. The tour provides everything but the Sd card which you can bring or buy off the guide for around $25 usd.

What an unforgettable experience! - What an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Ilya, was incredibly sweet and made the night extra special. Before heading out, she gave us a thorough training session on the Canon cameras they provided, which worked perfectly with the SD cards we brought to capture our own photos. While we waited for the Northern Lights, we enjoyed a traditional Swedish Fika—a lovely break with coffee and treats that added a personal touch to the tour. The night itself was nothing short of magical. We were fortunate enough to witness 2 to 3 hours of the Aurora Borealis, and the dancing lights were simply breathtaking. The vibrant colors in the sky were unlike anything we've ever seen—truly otherworldly. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a well-organized, personal, and awe-inspiring experience under the Northern Lights!

At the end of the road, is an excellent place to find a sense of calm. - In short, The Overnight Photo tour will be one of my more precious and meaningful memories of my trip. 5 out of 5 I would go again if I ever go back.
After being picked up in Kiruna, we stopped at a gear locker to pick up our Boots and snow pants. We were then introduced to our camera gear, and were given a demonstration of the ideal settings for our day ahead. (All of the gear was in Great Shape, and they had solid tri-pods for northern light photos as well.) Our Guide (Ylva) was soft spoken and also carried a calm confidence with her. Openly Engaging and Hospitable. At dinner, she shared a video and slides about the Sami culture and history. She conveyed her resonance for the Sami’s connection to nature, the history of their people, and their ability to still live a meaningful life as a nomadic people. - The accommodations at the Nikkaluokta Sarri were cozy and clean. We had a hot water pot, some dishes and silverware. (I would recommend bringing your own snacks, Teas, Etc..) - Restaurant Skáidi was very Delicious.! Down to earth and nutritious. The conversations and the slowed pace of the surroundings was a relaxing part of the trip. If I were able to go back, I would most definitely stay more than one night. I would also bring my Snowshoes, and Cross Country Skis to spend more time outside.
