Beautiful, peaceful kayak trip - This trip with guide Joshua was really enjoyable, letting me reconnect with my younger kayaking self! Shingle Creek was so beautiful and peaceful, and Joshua struck just the right balance between allowing us (just 3 trippers) to enjoy nature and sharing his knowledge, which is extensive. There were loads of birds, a turtle, an alligator... I loved it, just what I needed!

Highly recommend this Kayak tour - Oh where do I start! Let’s start with the most kindness people who work here. Our tour guide Josh was not only knowledgeable but just a really nice guy. He just loves what he does, you can tell by his enthusiasm and energy. As far as the actual sights, you are surrounded by the most precious Eco system. I highly recommend this experience to all. Oh and don’t worry they will teach you how to paddle your kayak!!

Perfect kayak trip - Josh was such a great guide! He did a fantastic job of teaching us the basics of kayaking, and made sure we all kept up and felt included. He was friendly, funny and so knowledgeable about just about everything. It was so much better than a similar kayak trip I'd done that week, although we saw more wildlife on that one. This was still a very enjoyable few hours, seeing a part of Florida that many overlook. It's such a shame - I highly recommend everyone does this. Parts of the river have quite strong currents, but Josh was great at helping us navigate through it.

Perfect intro into Orlando wetlands! - Easy float through Shingle Creek enjoying local flora and critters. Our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable in the area history and wildlife and made the trip casual and fun. We even got our gator pic of a rogue juvenile.

Outstanding… you’ve got to do this!! - If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks, this place is perfect. 2 hours of peace and quiet, so much to see and enjoy. We even saw a 12ft alligator called George… don’t worry apparently humans are not his food so we just sailed by. Josh the tour guide is what really made this such an epic experience, his knowledge and enthusiasm about the place was incredible, such a knowledgeable and lovely guy. Highlight of the trip with our 2 girls 9 and 10yrs

You Need to Do This - We wanted my teens to have a "Florida experience" on our family vacation and I'm so glad we chose this kayak tour. Our guide, Ryan, was fun, knowledgeable, helpful if you aren't familiar with kayaking, and a great conversationalist. We saw fish, many turtles, osprey, and a mama alligator in the distance (we were told she was guarding her nest, so we needed to keep our distance). My teens thought it was the highlight of our vacation, even more than our experience on our cruise. I highly recommend booking a tour in the morning time slot and not the afternoon due to heat and weather. I'm glad the staff recommended that change for us.
