Uganda Equator - From Mpambire, we’ll continue south to our next stop at the Equator line. Here, you can stand astride the equator and marvel at the unique geography of our planet. This educational experience provides fascinating insights into the equator’s role in shaping our world. Coffee lovers will have the chance to enjoy some of Uganda’s finest coffee, and there are several craft shops to explore as well.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - We’ll arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening. Nestled in the heart of Uganda, this expansive 1,978-square-kilometer park is a haven for adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike. With its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife, Queen Elizabeth National Park is a testament to the beauty of our natural world. After checking into our hotel, we’ll relax before embarking on an evening game drive.

Kazinga Channel - Early in the morning, we’ll head out for a game drive, where you’ll experience the excitement of open safari drives across varied landscapes, each turn offering a new encounter with the park’s wildlife. After returning to the hotel for breakfast and some relaxation, we’ll set out for a cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll spot a wide array of wildlife along its banks. This tranquil boat safari offers an excellent vantage point for observing the many species that thrive here.
Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge) - In the evening, we’ll venture to Kyambura Valley for a trek into the “Valley of Apes,” where you’ll discover a world where chimpanzees play, communicate, and swing through the trees. This journey offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of our closest relatives.
Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Located in the southwestern corner of Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a stunning showcase of Africa’s beauty and biodiversity. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its mountain gorilla population, lush rainforests, and breathtaking landscapes. Spanning over 331 square kilometers, Bwindi offers an unforgettable experience for wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers, and adventurers. With its mist-covered mountains, dense forests, and abundant wildlife, Bwindi is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic African adventure.
Gorilla Trekking Day
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, you’ll receive a briefing before embarking on the main activity of the safari. The highlight of Bwindi is its critically endangered mountain gorillas. This park is one of the few places in the world where you can have an up-close encounter with these gentle giants. With about half of the global mountain gorilla population residing in Bwindi, the park offers a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Tracking the gorillas is an adventure in itself, as you’ll trek through dense forest with experienced guides. The trek can be physically demanding, but the reward of spending time with these incredible animals is immeasurable. Watching the gorillas play, feed, and interact is a humbling experience that deepens appreciation for wildlife conservation.
Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - After breakfast, we’ll head out for a community visit. Bwindi is not only a sanctuary for wildlife but also home to local communities that have lived alongside the forest for generations. Engaging with the Batwa people, indigenous forest dwellers, offers a unique insight into their traditional lifestyle, customs, and ancient knowledge of the forest. Visitors can participate in traditional dances, storytelling, and learn about the traditional uses of plants and herbs from the Batwa community.
Lake Bunyonyi - After lunch, we’ll head to Lake Bunyonyi, a scenic gem nestled in Uganda’s breathtaking landscapes. The serene lake invites visitors to immerse themselves in its tranquil beauty, and you’ll spend the evening enjoying its magical allure.
Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala
Kampala - After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Kampala via Mbarara, stopping at the Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch. We’ll arrive in Kampala in the evening, marking the end of our safari.
