Very unique chocolate experience - Truth be told, we didn't much feel like going to do this at the end of a long day. Then we couldn't get an Uber to take us there. Then the Uber dropped us off in the wrong place and we wandered around in the dark for 10 minutes trying to find it. Funny to think we very nearly missed out on what would be a highlight of our trip to Split. Marinko is quite the interesting guy, a punk rocker turned spice businessman turned chocolatier. He's a MacGyver type, having built much of the equipment in his factory himself. He speaks with pride about his Guinness record for largest chocolate bar ever made, and will play for you a phonograph record of a song he wrote and performed -- that happens to be made completely out of chocolate. We got to make our own chocolate squares and sample SO MANY chocolates, which are delicious and unique (the chocolate spread with cinnamon was my favorite). He was even kind enough to offer us a ride back to Split at the end of the evening. We're so glad we had the opportunity to visit Marinko and would highly recommend this activity.

Passion to the people! - If you like chocolate as much as I do, this is a perfect workshop for you. Besides just learning about the process of making chocolate, you get to constantly eat some pieces of dark chocolate of the highest quality. You can definitely taste the hard work that went into making these chocolates, the whole process from raw bean to a chocolate bar. The owner, Marinko, traveled through Central America in search for the best cocoa beans, so you get to taste chocolates from Nicaragua, Costa Rica etc. Marinko talks about his factory with enthusiasm and passion. I have to mention his Guinness book record from 2015 for the largest chocolate bar over 100 square meters and, of course, his music record made of chocolate that you can play in a record player and is also eatable!! No wonder that his chocolates have a sticker that says "passion to the people".

Beyond interesting - The workshop exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable! The space is nicely decorated, the tour was very interesting, making our own chocolate was fun and I had a feeling I could listen to Marinko talk for hours on end without getting bored. His sincere passion for chocolate and discovering new ways to make it was the best part of the tour for me. I truly can not recommend this tour enough!!

A workshop to remember - A fun and engaging workshop, interesting from start to finish. For me personally, the highlights were when Marinko explained how the machinery works, and of course when we made our own chocolate bars. Great experience, would recommend to everyone.

The sweetest workshop ever! - I really had great time in Nadalina chocolate factory. Chocolate workshop is something I would recommend to everyone cos it’s fun and interesting at the same time. Marinko, the owner of the factory and the entire brand guided us through the entire workshop and he is for sure definitely one of the nicest people you can meet - a man with an eternal smile on his face. First he introduced us to the story of the cocoa fruit and how we get cocoa beans from that fruit ( everything is accompanied by fotos of his trips to cocoa plantations). After that, we moved to the room where the main process of converting beans into chocolate. That was my favourite part especially because all the machines are retro, original or made by the owner himself. He explained us in a very simple, understandable and yet interesting way every step in bean processing. And that brings me to the second favorite part and that was.... chocolate tasting! I loved this part! :) We were tasting chocolate bars while our chocolate guide explained difenent teste of diferent origin of cocoa bean. Lastly, it was time to make our own chocolate bar to take home. The most fun activity of the whole workshop. Our chocolate guide brought us melted chocolate, mold, and ingredients to add to our chocolates. After we molded the chocolate bars and added other ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits, etc., they were stored in a separate room to cool down. In Chocolate bars were in fridge 15 - 20 minutes and we could pack them up in our paper cover. This is great way to spend evening with your friends, kids, partner or alone. Group is not big so you can clearly see and hear everything and still meet new people. I recommended it to all my friends. Tea
