Known since the 15th century, Besakih Temple, or Penataran Agung Temple, is the main worship place in Bali and the central temple of Hinduism on the island. It is the largest temple in Indonesia and is often referred to as the mother of temples in Bali. Located in Karangasem, this temple is famous worldwide. Visitors will find hundreds of stairs leading to a large gate, the entrance to the main area of the temple. If you’re lucky, you might witness Balinese rituals. We will spend about 2 hours here.

The views from Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace are breathtaking, offering a sea panorama and a sense of nature’s tranquility. Located near Besakih Temple, Bukit Jambul is perfect for enjoying the natural scenery. We will spend about 1 hour here before our driver takes you back to your hotel, a 3-hour drive.
