Knossos archeological site - a great experience! - Six of us friends took the trip to the Knossos ruins and the associated museum. Christine and the driver were fabulous. They picked us up at the villa we were staying at in Chania and transported us safely to the sites. Christine was very informative about the history of Crete during the drive. At the Knossos site, we were met by a very informative archeologist that provided extensive detail about the history of the Minoan people and the Knossos site itself. On the way back, Christine arranged for an impromptu fun and informative olive oil tasting at a local olive oil factory. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend Christine and the SeabyBus for this experience.

This was a fantastic day! - This was an excellent trip and time well spent. Christine and Thanos of SeaByBus were so nice and friendly, we had a fantastic time talking about Crete all the way, they gave us a lot of interesting information. Then, in Knossos, we had a great guide (who is an archeologist) who explained everything to us in such an interesting, intriguing and picturesque way that it really triggered our imagination on how Minoans lived and we were perfectly prepared to go and see the artefacts in Heraklion museum. The whole trip was very comfortable, the local snacks were really good and we felt very well taken care of. We had some options on our way back to decide what we would like to do most. We wanted to visit an olive oil factory so we did so and we liked this place very much. Thank you Christine and Thanos for all the conversations we had and places you showed us. This was a fantastic day and we came back with such wonderful memories! We highly recommend this tour!

Just do it! You won't regret it! - We had the best day. Christina and Thanos were amazing. While driving from Chania they gave our group history lessons and explained the myths of the region. Maria our tour guide at Knossos was so knowledgeable. She brought history to life. Off to the museum which was beautiful and so full of artifacts. We had enough time to visit the Melidoni cave. If you are coming to Crete, you must do this tour!

Excellent private day trip from Chaina. - Knossos palace was amazing and definitely made our visit to the museum afterwards more meaningful. I was able to navigate the terrain despite bad knees. Our driver and guide Christine were a fabulous team sharing a wealth of information, both historically and from personal experience. Their knowledge of the olive industry was fascinating & even customized our private tour with a stop at an olive procession as it is peak season now. Every thing on the tour was top notch even included the baker prepared lunch box. For us this trip leaving from Chaina to Herakleion made the most of our limited time here. Thank you Christine! Highly recommend this tour!

The Best Small Group Tour to see Knossos and the museum - I read great reviews and decided to book a tour with Christine. We were group of 8 and the minibus was large and comfortable for the group. She was at the cruise port waiting for us so we can start our tour right away. On the way to the Knossos Palace, Christine explained us about Crete: history, culture, food and wine with nice videos. It was nice 2 hour drive - Thanasis is a great driver to safely take us around the island. The guide, Thalia, is an excellent guide who is very passionate and knowledgeable. She showed us the highlights in the Palace and the museum to maximize our experience in the limited time. On the way back, we stopped in a Venetian town, Chania, to see the beautiful sea side town and did some shopping. We would like to come back and ask her to take us to the Olive oil farm and have a dinner in Chania next time! They provided nice local pastry and refreshments. All of us enjoyed the tour!

An excellent adventure! - I had a wonderful experience working with Christine at Sea by Bus Explore Crete and highly recommend her tour company! Christine’s warmth and friendliness was readily evident in all of our correspondence. Her responses to my inquires were always prompt. I ultimately booked all of our tours and transfers though Sea by Bus. With Christine’s guidance, we created a truly memorable trip for my family. I strongly encourage you to reach out to Christine so you can create a wonderful, personalized experience for you as well! Private tour to Knossos Palace This was a wonderful experience. During the drive from Chania to Knossos Palace there were videos discussing Crete history, and well as a brief lesson in some basic Greek words. Christine shared what life was like in Crete. The guide selected by Christine for our tour was informative and enthusiastic. The visit to the site was followed by independent visit to the museum. The tour originally included a stop in nearby Heraklion. However, Christine gave us the opportunity to modify our itinerary from a visit to “a big city” (Heraklion) for something that was more personal for us. The day began with a stop at restaurant at a village for Greek coffee and some traditional snacks (yogurt with bergamot & a traditional flat pastry with cheese inside) while enjoying a view of a lake and countryside. During the ride back to our hotel we had a stop at a facility that processes olives from local growers. It was informative and concluded with an opportunity to taste olive oil from different types of olives and the different ways it can be processed. (Yes, you can taste the difference!)
