Knossos Palace tour was great! - Our tour guide was great - very enthusiastic and interesting. The use of the headsets allowed us to listen and learn while looking around. The tour guide did a good job relating myths and Minoan life to modern times.

Great experience! - We visited the Knossos Labyrinth accompanied by Mrs. Chatzigeorgiou as a Guide. It was a beautiful experience in which we learned many things not only about the site’s history, but also about Minoan culture. Thank you Akrivi!

Perfect, informative tour with attentive support staff caring for our group members with true concern - Gianni’s was attentive and gracious throughout our planning, met us ant the port, and even reserved the taxis for us! His staff were kind and supportive especially with one elderly group member. And the tour guide, Akrivi (sp?!), was amazing! So much o formation and expertise on a subject she obviously loved. Her enthusiasm was infectious and everyone enjoyed learning from her immensely! So grateful we chose this tour.

Henry DeMoss(sp?) was fantastic! - This guided tour was the highlight of our time in Crete. The information that Henry shared with my husband & I was mind-blowing! THE most entertaining & informational tour we had the entire time in Greece, including the Acropolis in Athens. We would definitely do this tour again. We cannot wait to read & study everything there is to know about this place. Henry was a true inspiration to learn more KNOWLEDGE!

Amazing and super interesting experience! - The tour was amazing! It was just two of us and the guide and we learned so much about the ruins. Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable! It started raining during the tour and they brought us Panchos so we wouldn’t get wet! We definitely recommend it.

Knossos Palace - This 1.5 hour tour was one of the most interesting we have ever done. Our guide Katerina who is an archeologist and excavator absolutely knows her history of Knossos and Greek history in general. She shared the information comprehensively and delivered it an entertaining manner. Her enthusiasm for Knossos was infectious. The tour exceeded our expectation and has left us with a greater appreciation of Knossos and the Minoan civilisation. Thank you Katerina.

Knossos Palace Guided Walking Tour and Heraklion Town walking Tour - For History lovers this is a must. Here are some tips if you go on this trip.
1. Take water and keep hydrated. When you enter the palace there are no toilets inside or anywhere to buy drinks. There are toilets before you enter the palace, keep some change, 50c, to use the facilities. There is a shop and restaurant to buy liquids or food before you enter.
2. Our tour did not include the entry fee into the Palace. If you are under 25 years or over 65 years take ID and you can get discounted entry rates. You can purchase a dual ticket for Knossos Palace and the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, this will cost 20 euroes pp. If you are in the above age groups it will be cheaper to buy individual tickets.
3. This is not an easy walk. The tour is about 90 minutes long and bearing in mind the type of visit at times the ground is very uneen and I would suggets not disability friendly.
4. Make sure you are well covered, hat, suncream etc as this is almost totally outdoors and on a hot sunny day you could easily burn.
5. I would reccomend visiting Knossos Palace first if you are also considering a vist to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. It natuarlly follows on and I found this really enjoyable.
We booked this through Viator and found the arrangements to meet really easy and well organised. The tour guide will provide each person with an audio system and headphone for the tour. Stay in reasonable distance of your tour guide or the commentary could drop out.
Our trip also included a walking tour of Heraklion Town with the same guide. We loved Heraklion Town, the beautiful buildings, the shops, reatsuarants and cafes. We were given 3 hours free time but as we were staying so close we enjoyed the rest of the day taking in the wonderful ambience of this vibrant town.
Well worth a visit.

A great tour the Knossos! - We enjoyed the small group setting and as a result were able to be more flexible as the crowds ebbed and flowed throughout the site. Our guide, Arkivi, was very knowledgeable and provided expert commentary throughout the day. A very enjoyable tour!

Pricey - Although the Information and guide was good this tour is very expensive for 1 hr 30 minutes. It could have at least included the price of the entry fee. We took an all day 8 hr tour and food included for almost same price!
