Magic Lagoon Charters Knysna - Magic Lagoon Charters offers classic cruises on the Knysna Lagoon aboard vintage wooden boats. We embark at Thesen Island in Knysna for round trips to the Knysna Heads. Food and drinks are available. We are currently running a Super Winter Special aboard Coquette our 102 year old Mahogany Launch

Our collection of timber ships are distinctive and afford visitors the chance to fully appreciate the atmosphere and heritage of Knysna. At present, we operate Coquette, our 102-year-old Mahogany watercraft, and we eagerly anticipate the quick arrival of two fresh members to our fleet: Elegance, an 89-year-old Gaff-rigged Ketch and Pamela, a classic mahogany dauntless cruiser.

Great trip - definitely recommend - The lagoon cruise was really good The skipper was really knowledgeable and was very friendly. It was perfect that the trip was very relaxing and just very chilled. Perfect for families and couples who do not want a speedy experience but just a nice time

Fantastic tour, excellent customer service - We had a wonderful full experience on our boat tour. Firstly, Peter kindly accommodated us by rearranging our tour time last minute so that we could catch the sunny weather. All the staff were wonderful and kind, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Peter and his team were also incredibly kind by gifting us a non-alcoholic bottle of bubbly when they found out we are on our honeymoon and babymoon expecting our first baby! We will definitely be back again one day with the little one.

Really enjoyable - My husband, myself and my 18 month old had a wonderful, relaxed cruise with Peter. We were the only ones on the boat which was a treat. Peter is very knowledgeable about the area and we learnt a lot from him. Would highly recommend.

An experience of a lifetime for a 72 year old😁 - We were very lucky to go on a cruise with Peter to the Heads. From the booking office staff to the actual boat cruise we were kept entertained. Peter was amazing showing us places along the way. The highlight for me was having the dolphin frolicking in and out the waves next to us. This is one I can cross off my bucket list wish, however I loved it that much that I would go again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for a wonderful trip. Jillian Antoville

Brilliant trip - Amazing guide and view. Perfect relaxing boat trip ever. The Knysna heads are immaculate. We met Henry the seal that stays in the lagoon as well.

Experiencing the Knysna Heads and Lagoon at it's best! - We were very blessed to have had the most amazing experience with the Knysna Heads/Lagoon tour! We found communicating and booking with Peter, in advance an absolute pleasure, he even kept us up to date with any weather changes and conditions. The day of our cruise was absolute bliss, with the ultimate blue skies, historical Knysna Heads and one of their Mahogany 1900's wooden boat. Our cruise was also more educational seeing that we are a family of four with two teenagers as homeschooling scholars. We felt safe and secure. The skipper was most interesting with his obvious love of interaction with tourists and knowledge of the area.
