Great day - Fabulous day out lead by our wonderful tour guide Molly and the crew who made the day truly enjoyable from start to finish . Molly was very knowledgeable and helpful especially when fitting our snorkels and assisted taking pictures of everyone and most importantly keeping us safe and informed especially when it was a little choppy on the sea. The boat was very clean and the lunch was great . Overall wonderful day and can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful experience and wow visit again or use Sawanu Travel again - It was a wonderful experience. The crew members were superior and attentive. Very helpful and try to ensure that we enjoyed the experience. Welcome lounge was very good. Pier was stunning with photo taken of each group before the start. Due to weather we were not able to relax on Maya Bay beach and paddling. The ride was wonderful wet and bumpy. Lunch was good. Best event swimming and snorkelling. We enjoyed the day trip and highly recommended it.

Phi Phi Islands - Great experience - Second time doing a phi phi islands tour, this time with parents and a young child. It’s quite an experience. The team is good - friendly and informative. They also explain what to expect and what you’re doing, and how long each stop takes. The trip to and fro was stable - which we needed as some of us get motion sickness. The lunch was simple but tasty. Had a great time.

Fantastic day out in an amazing place with a great tour guide on a spotlessly clean boat, start to the day was chaotic! - Great day trip, boat was spotlessly clean and our tour guide Jeffrey was excellent as were all the staff on board. We loved this trip and so did our teenage sons. Phi Phi is busy and so is Phi Phi Don which we weren’t prepared for, lunch is a bit reminiscent of a camp setting but the food was plentiful and tasty and there are other options available on the island if you don’t like what’s provided. Maya Bay is simply stunning, took my breathe away - felt very privileged to have been able to come to this amazing place. Would have given 5 stars but we were picked up by taxi in the morning way too early and spent two hours in the lounge before our trip started - the lounge was heaving and lots of chaos whilst getting people onto the right boat/trip this needs to be organised better as it was pretty grim. But once underway on our boat we had a great trip and were very well looked after.

Really enjoyable day marred by weather and sickness. - Picked up by minibus and taken straight to marina. Bus was air conditioned. On arrival it was busy as it was several tour operators each with several groups in the same location. Not terrible but busy. Reasonable breakfast on offer buffet style and then a tour guide up with a microphone and explained the proceedings. After around 30ish minutes we were led by our guide Geoffrey to our boat. The boat had 2-3-2 seating and we were seated middle front. We were instructed to remove shoes and given plastic bags to put them in. The boat sides were high so we could not see much with standing up as we headed out. The ride out was noisy with boat noise and then added on top was the guides music. Music isn’t my thing so I won’t comment on that. Rained a bit so they closed up the sides. Made it stuffy but they did open some up for a bit of airflow. Pulled up at Bamboo island in a thunderstorm. Torrential rain. I jumped right off and went into snorkel. Lovely. Crowded but still a pleasant experience in the water. Lovely reef and lots of fish. Moved on driving for a few minutes to next snorkel spot on PhiPhi right near monkey beach. Had a fantastic snorkel in deeper water. Maybe 3 - 4 metres. Then moved into the beach (remaining on the boat) and saw a single monkey. He had stolen a drink. Moved on to lunch stop. 10 or so journey minutes in the boat. Food was very local offering on crowded shore at beach restaurant. Buffet style local food. Chicken and fish options. Just about enough to offer a fussy palate. Fruit for dessert and there was coffee which was borderline good. (Spoiler alert. The whole family had food poisoning 24h later that ruined 3 full days of our holiday. ) Took a very quick walk around the markets in the surrounding streets. In leaving Phi Phi for Maya bay we lost an engine. They tried to fix it but gave up. Rough ride to Maya bay and then Maya was red flagged so we went around the corner and had a glorious swim in a very scenic gorgeous inlet. During our swim they sorted the engine or at least partly sorted it as it was half power for the ride home. After around 40 mins we left the inlet and stopped briefly outside the Viking cave before heading back home. Rough ride initially. Throughout the day there was drinks. Water and canned local drinks. Bananas and then after our last stop they came around with watermelon and pineapple. Geoffrey our guide was very humorous. All the staff were lovely. Each time we got back on the boat we could shower at the entrance. The ride back was long and very rough. Could have been worse but it was rough. Took a little over an hour to get back to port. Overall: Peally enjoyable day. Downs: Boat is more like a bus to places. The journey was not part of the enjoyment. Ups: Lovely tour guides. Destination was unbelievable. Final point. They also had a mandarin speaking guide on board. All the staff were fantastic.

Terrible, very unsafe, hate this day. It was horrible. - It was the worst day of my life. Let alone it's on our honeymoon. They put our lives in danger with a storm in the middle of the ocean, although we saw that the weather was bad before starting the trip and informed them, yet they told us it was okay and safe. But it was far from that. It was a nightmare , people vomiting, others fainting and on top of that, they refused to give us a refund. Seriously do not advice anyone at all. They dont care about other people's lives.
