Wow this was an Epic family adventure! - I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences our family has ever had. We our family of 8. My wife, my self and our 6 boys. We have traveled around the word and done many incredible activities and this is certainly one of the best. The area is so beautiful you can probably enjoy yourself in wooden raft with paddles but five star takes you out in a luxury boat. Having a private boat, and a nice one at that is worth the money if you can afford it. Our guide Jun and the crew were amazing, and I truly mean amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing time. Highlights of the tour were going through the caves at sunset with our headlamps and helmets when no one else was there. An amazing dinner at floating city(food price is not included but the quality was excellent and the price was reasonable) The best thing if the bioluminescence, it was truly like something out of Avatar. I feel like James Cameron must have been in Phuket when he dreamt everything up. I wish I could have captured it on camera but my lens was not large enough. Even so we will never forget how beautiful it was!

Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay - Exceptional, professional service, with great communication beforehand and a bespoke tour suited to our needs. It went beyond our expectations. Hats off to Dream, our guide and his team, who made every effort to ensure we had a selective tour that ensured we were kept away from the crowds and experienced a unique day. Highlight of the holiday!

Indescribable nature - This tour was booked spontaneously, a day earlier, via WhatsApp. Communication went great. Shawn and his team responded directly and the organization went perfectly.
We were picked up by the taxi at noon and drove into the port. There Jimmy and the crew were waiting for us. We drove straight out. The spots we visited were indescribably beautiful. Nature is just madness. We changed from boat to canoe and were driven through caves. The last stop you must have experienced....it is dark (really, you don't see a hand in front of you) and runs into the water and it starts to shine. Every movement, every swimming movement makes the sea shine...The madness!!!
Unfortunately, there are no pictures.
We were so excited that we booked the trip to the Phi Phi Islands 2 days later 😉

Unforgettable day! - We had a spectacular day with 5starmarine, thanks to our fantastic guide Alex and his team. We requested to see Phi Phi Island, Panyee Island, and bioluminescent plankton, and they delivered all that and more. From kayaking through stunning caves and swimming with vibrant fish to enjoying a delicious lunch, the experience was unforgettable. The speedboat was new, clean, and comfortable, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. This tour was truly the highlight of our Phuket visit. I highly, highly recommend 5starmarine for an exceptional and memorable adventure. They took great care of our family.

Amazing Bioluminescence private tour experience - We had an awesome time. The entire tour was very amazing as the boat crew were awesome always happy to help.
The booking process was also excellent with lots of choice and options provided but Shaun and his team.

Phang Nga Bay with 5-Star Marine - The trip was amazing. Planning it was easy as Shaun from 5 star marine is very responsive and helpful. Jimmy’s a fabulous guide . Our afternoon was very well planned. Dinner at Koh Panyi was fab! We saw the bioluminescent plankton in a cave with a hidden beach . So cool !

Amazing private tour with a professional and warm team! - Don't hesitate! If you're considering a tour with 5 Star Marine, DO IT!
We have nothing but amazing things to say about the whole team!
From booking, all the way throughout the lead up, and on the day itself, the whole team were professional, communicated extremely well at each step of the process, and looked after us so well on the day!
From organising specific soft drinks for the day, prompt and efficient pick up and drop off from our hotel, and such amazing guides on board, these guys are amazing!
Our guide Dream was such a pleasure to spend the day with, really made us feel looked after and was extremely knowledgeable. But more than this, he was genuine in his warmth and pride in sharing this part of Thailand with us!
Dinner at the floating village was great.. although we ordered way too much (bear in mind the servings are substantial!)
With it being rainy season, the day started off with a LOT of rain.. but honestly, the way the team conducted the tour and still managed to show us all the sights, while avoiding the big crowds (as well as rhe rain) made us forget all about the morning downpour. A truly memorable day, and we will definitely do it again when we are next in Phuket!

So many wonderful surprises! - I have to say that working with 5-Star was fantastic from the initial booking, through communication while we were in Phuket, all the way through the tours themselves. We actually booked two tours with them, the Dolphin-Spotting/Snorkeling and the Bioluminescence tours.
Our first tour was the Dolphin-Spotting/Snorkeling tour. I was very happy with how upfront 5-Star was in the booking and then with the guide that they engage in only ethical dolphin-spotting, so there's always a possibility that you won't see any dolphins. We didn't on our tour, but we did not feel disappointed in the company since they were so up-front about that. Plus, the fact that they do approach this ethically is something we were both happy about. The snorkeling was great and Coral Island was a nice bit of relaxation. Our guide Jun was so great that we made sure to request him for our 2nd tour as well. When we asked about the getting something to eat, he recommended the floating seafood restaurant as opposed to us getting a bite on the more tourist-y island. It was a great recommendation and a place we were already planning on trying to visit, so it was great to have that happen on the trip.
Our 2nd tour was initially booked for a Friday, but my partner had a really bad back spasm in the morning and wouldn't have been able to handle the boat ride. 5-Star was so accommodating to let us reschedule for the Sunday instead. On Sunday, we did have Jun again and he was amazing. This was the sea canoeing and bioluminescence tour. The sea canoeing and the cave walking to the different lagoons and spaces inside the islands was fantastic and would've been amazing on its own. However, the star was the bioluminescence at the end. From the photos and write-up on 5-Star's website, we thought we'd be seeing some cool bioluminescent algae effects from the boat after sunset. However, what we got was even more fantastic and well worth the tour all by itself. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I do recommend this tour if you want a magical evening moment.
If we are able to make it back to Phuket in the future, we will definitely be trying some of the other tours that 5-Star offers.

Great Experience - We had an absolute great day and night out.
Jimmy and the local crew were great. Very knowledgeable, helpful, organised and respectful. Sea was a little choppy in parts but still go in a nice dive around Khai island. Much calmer as you head north the the boats really move.
The highlights for us were cave canoeing into hidden lagoons. We also got to see some really cool wildlife (monkeys, eagles, water monitors and octopus). Floating village was an interesting place for dinner and the bioluminescence was the cherry on top of a great day. Could not recommend this company more highly.

We WILL come back! - I took some time before posting my review to truly process our experience with 5 Star Marine. It was an experience like we’ve never had, and I did countless hours of research for our two trips with Five Star, wanting to ensure we were getting the best experience we could.
Four friends from Texas embarked on an adventure of a lifetime with 5 Star Marine, experiencing the Bioluminescent tour and the Phi Phi Island tour on two separate days. Our guide on both trips was Alex, one of the most genuine people we met during our two-week trip to Phuket. His happiness was evident as he explained the special hidden places we visited.
Our journey began each day with a private van pickup from our hotel, and we were greeted by Alex, at the marina.
The Bioluminescent tour, which was Alex's tour program, left us stunned. The attention to detail was remarkable, and we were pleasantly surprised when Alex gave us a cake to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
We were captivated by every turn of the boat, every view, and every detail. Alex's dedication to service and attention to detail was beyond compare. Alex and his crew on Lucas 6 were the highlight of our entire vacation in Thailand. He is a treasure who truly loves his job and showing off his he beauty of Thailand.
He even took the time to pick up trash from the ocean while we were snorkeling.
It was an amazing experience to tour Phang Nag Bay and Phi Phi Islands with Alex and 5 Star. We will travel back to Phuket just to explore more with Five Star.
