Bioluminescence tour- AMAZING!! - Words cannot even describe how amazing our day with 5 star marine was. It was absolutely magical! The bioluminescence was a bucket list moment for many of us so we were totally blown away by that! And canoeing through caves into hidden lagoons was out of this world! The whole day was just incredible and I don’t think we could ever top it.
From the moment I booked the trip a couple of months ago the team at 5 star marine were brilliant, there was a group of 7 of us and people wanted to see different things so there were lots of emails back and forth before we arrived and 5 star marine went above and beyond altering the tour to make sure we fit it all in, and had so much patience with my many questions and emails!! The tour was planned to perfection and we were looked after from the moment we were picked up from our hotel. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel completely at ease.
We all had the most incredible experience and made memories we will cherish forever! Thankyou 5 star marine for making our dreams come true!! We will definitely be back in the future!

Another great day out - We came back to Five star after having a couple of previous trips in the last 2 years. We weren’t disappointed. We had a lovely day, jumping off the boat, canoeing in caves, walking through some caves to a big open lagoon on the other side. Lunch at the floating village was yummy and we had soft drinks and fruit on the boat for snacks. We were on the bioluminescence tour and we had fun playing with the plankton.
We were really worried as the day started with rain (April is very changeable) but fortunately the sun came out and we had a great time.
If the weather was not good, then it wouldn’t have been as magical.
Jimmy and the crew on Lucus 11 were brilliant. Good fun and couldn’t do enough for us.

Bioluminescence in Phang Nga - We had a great full day trip to Phang Nga Bay after booking a private tour with five star marine. First off they picked us up at our house and took us to their dock at the boat lagoon. From there, we went to Phansk Island to do some cave and lagoon exploring. We then proceeded to Hong Island, where we were able to get in sea canoes and do some cave exploring and seeing the mangroves. After dinner on Panyi Village, they took us to some coves where we could experience the bioluminescence glow from the little sea creatures. They returned us back to the boat lagoon, and we were transported back to our home in their private van. Great trip.

The best day of our holiday! - We did this tour on the 25th January, our second tour with 5 Star Marine and we were absolutely blown away. Our guide Phil, first mate Bob and Captain Big Bear made the whole experience unforgettable. Nothing we can say can capture where we were taken and what we saw. This is something you have to experience for yourself. Having said that if you do think about doing any tours in this beautiful place we would highly recommend 5 Star Marine. Thanks to Phil for his knowledge, experience, professionalism and the attention to the many many little things. Trevor's birthday cake delivered to us by canoe, in a private cave, on a private beach will be something we will never ever forget. The team went out of their way to take us to many secluded places. The whole day was amazing and will remain in our memories always. We look forward to returning next year. Thanks again, you guys truly have something very unique, professional and totally exceeded our expectations.

The highlight of our holiday - We took the Bioluminescence and Sea Canoeing tour with Alex and it exceeded our expectations. The canoeing and caving was so much fun, and the bioluminescence was magical. We added on some extra snorkeling and even though the water was a bit murky, everyone had a blast. Alex is an awesome guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole crew really looked after us. Thank you. My kids said that this tour was the highlight of their trip to Thailand.

An amazing experience that was better than we could have imagined! - I can't say enough amazing things about 5 Star Marine and our guide Alex. We booked a last minute private boat tour to see the bioluminescent algea and get dinner at Punyee Island. I highly recommend using them for a boat tour because you will get more than you pay for and amazing service.
5 Star Marine communicated quickly and we were able to book a private boat with them at a great price within a few hours. They brought their boat over to the marina we were already going to be at in the afternoon and sent us a picture of the boat and our guide so we knew who to look for. The service from Alex and his team was impecible from the start. The boat was clean and in great shape and comfortable for all of us.
We had planned to see just Punyee Island for dinner and then the algea but Alex had some recommendations of things to see along the way that we were happy to do, and I'm so glad we did! He took us to a hidden private open cave and lagoon that was breathtaking. Then we swung by more stunning rock formations enjoying the sunset from the boat on the way to dinner. He called ahead to the restaurant to make sure they stayed open for us since we spent time enjoying the lagoon/cave. After a wonderful dinner he took us to a cave where guides were waiting in canoes to take us into the calm dark waters to see the algae. We spent time in the cave playing in the water and enjoying the light show. Alex jumped into the water to show us different affects with the biolumimesence and it was so much fun. One of our friends was nervous about the canoes so she stayed back on the speedboat, but they still made sure she go to experience it as well by turning off all the lights and having her splash on the back of the boat. After ample time we all loaded back onto the speed boat and headed back to the marina where Alex arranged for a van ride for our group back to our hotel.
We stayed out later than expected, got to see and experience more than we expected, and were blown away by the service the entire time. Alex was so kind and seemed to enjoy answering all our questions and teaching us about the area. You can tell he loves his country and sharing it with people. We never felt rushed and got to enjoy the evening at a relaxed pace.
They made a custom program for us, at a great price, that was worth every penny.
If I'm ever back in Phuket I will use them again and again and again!!

Highly recommended - Great customer service from the day we booked, communicated with me throughout the period before we stared. Prompt pickup from our hotel, warm welcome from the staff. Our tour guide Alex and his team took great care of us, especially my 80 years old mum. He was very thoughtful and caring, tried his best helping my mum so she was not missing out and can joined all the activities with us. It is very appreciated. Highly recommended.

Fantastic private tour - We had a fantastic time with 5 Star Marine on our private tour to Phang Nga Bay. Nicky, Bob, and Thomas were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We truly appreciated the care they gave in crafting a perfect itinerary for us and making sure we got to do what we wanted. All the stops we made were extremely memorable and we always felt safe under their expert guidance and supervision.

A memorable Christmas Day 2024 - What a wonderful day - huge thanks to Nicky our guide for giving us such a memorable time. We felt in safe hands and went with his suggestions which seemed to mean that we avoided any crowds and had the best experiences. We swam a bit, explored the caves, ate Thai food for Christmas Day lunch in a floating water village and made snow angels out of the bioluminescence which was so special.

Amazing Caves & Stunning Coves! - 13 of us family did the Private tour of Phang Nga Bay. It starts off from the pier & the Ist stop is Phanak Island with is stunning as you get to walk through the caves. Next stop is Hong Island where they take you Canoeing through a series of spectacular caves & coves. The next stop is Phang Nga Island or more famously called James Bond Island which is iconic. They then take you to an Island for lunch & when it gets dark they show you the Bioluminescence & plankton. There are many interesting things on the trip & shouldn't hype it as a Bioluminescence tour. It is only a part of the whole trip. All in all a well organised trip with Ice, soft drinks, water & cut fruits provided on the boat. Jimmy was our guide who was pretty efficient.
