Enjoyed our Special Occasion with the best crew in town - Firstly, I discovered this company thru YouTube when I was searching about snorkeling experiences in Phuket. From the moment I came across Shaun and Jay's videos in YT I knew I'd want to engage them for our special occasion. They did not disappoint. They are as candid yet professional on screen as they are, off screen. Shaun was so helpful from the get-go with my endless enquiries right up till our arrival at the jetty. Although he wasn't around, his crew and team provided us with a UNIFIED experience which is so so important. I believe it's worth paying the premium with them because of this. Nothing felt broken, everyone has the same customer experience standard and it all felt like one complete customer experience. We chose to spend our 10th year wedding anniversary snorkeling with 5 Star and specifically asked for a quieter time on the islands and that's what we got. The boat was extremely clean and fantastic, I was surprised that there was a toilet onboard and that helped me a ton. They provided drinks and fruits and ensured I never went thirsty. Haris from the crew got into the waters with us to guide us on where to snorkel and where are off limits and we found that very assuring. The program itself was wonderful. I only wished the 2nd stop (Racha Yai) was shortened once I saw the throngs of people at the snorkeling spot - not 5 Star's fault - it is what it is. The waters there are choppier so I got a bit sick after snorkeling there. Plus there were too many Chinese tourists with us and that made me very upset as they got on our boat as well to jump off into the water from or to just chill on!!! This is a case of personal ethics on the tourists' part but the crew onboard 5 Star's Lisa 8 saw my displeasure and helped fob off the intruders very quickly. Thank you for protecting our peace and experience, guys. Lastly, to cap off the wonderful day we headed to Mai Ton island and the snorkeling there was peaceful, calm and exactly how we'd like to end the day. A caveat about Thai snorkeling; Being a Singaporean who's first snorkeling experience was Malaysia, I must say that the corals in the Racha and Mai Ton islands aren't as colourful and vivid as Tioman, but the variety of fish we got to see made up for that. I even spotted an eel! We saw so many fishes but if you're looking for colourful, vivid, arresting coral structures then Racha and Mai Ton may not be the place. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with the best team to support that.

Phiphi Island tour - Amazing service and very friendly crew, we booked before arriving in Thailand and everything was made on time, boat is very clean and crew is amazing with kids.highly recommended

Best company in Phuket - My wife and I ave just returned from a 3 week holiday in Phuket and we always do at least 1 trip with 5 star as they are the best by far. Shaun and his team are always amazing and always give a perfect service with a great trip. This time it was only the two of us on our boat and we went to honeymoon island for snorkelling then off to rhaya island and just relaxed as that’s what we asked for. Our guide this time was June and ad always with 5 star he was amazing. We have now done most trips with 5 star and are now starting the list of tours for the second time. The one thing that really stands out with all the tour guides is how much they all love working for 5 star and everyone we have had over the years always say what a great boss Shaun is. See you in December when we are returning

Great snorkelling trip - A great tour - very well organised and flexible to what you want to do. The water was crystal clear for snorkelling with lots to see. Communication with the company from booking to before the tour was also first class.

Amazing tour in all aspects - Thank you so much to the 5 Star Marine Team! Especially our crew 1. captain- who always was smiley and kept us save and secure! To our 2. great skipper who also was super friendly and helpful and walked up with us to the view point, making sure we were all save and snake free;) And of course Jessica who looked after us in the best ways possible! We always had something to drink and fruits. She always had an open ear for us, looked after us while we went snorkling and made sure there was some shade so we didnt burn in the sun;) and all this with a beautiful smile! The tour itself was greatly organised. We left early enough so we were the only ones at the snorkling places, we saw so many beautiful sea life and amazing healthy corals. A white sand beach so soft that it felt like walking on flour. And even though it is the jelly fish season right now, we went snorkling without seeing one👍 Unfortunately there always is a lot of plastic garbage on the islands, coming in from the sea ( we are all responsible for that) but Jessica and i took some bags and collected 2 big bags in 10 min to take back and be recycled! Of course this was my own decision and it is not mandatory, but i do think it would be nice if we all do our bits to be a bit more responsible in that perspective and i was happy to see that this company cares! My family and i had an amazing day with 5 star marines- thank you so much!!

Great experience with a great guide! - Everything from the tour booking till the final drop off back to the hotel was absolutely smooth and efficient. The entire team was amazing, super helpful and great people all around. Our tour guide Fews was the best part of our day- such a gem! So funny and kind but also very professional. Highly recommend!

Sublime perfect - Family sea trip with our 5 year old granddaughter. Gorgeous ! They are taken care of from start to finish, the private cruise allows you to go at your own pace which is perfect with young children! Second time with 5 star marine and we will come back next year with our eyes closed. Special Thanks to Oak: best guide ever!!!

Excellent Experience in Thailand! - We booked a trip out to the Similan Islands in Thailand and unfortunately the trip was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. We asked about alternatives and the team was incredible getting us set up for a snorkeling trip out of Phuket to Racha Island (along with a few other stops) and it was incredible! They arranged for our pick up in Khao Lak and the service from the owner, Shaun, to the driver, the guide (Nook was great!) to the boat captain was absolutely top notch. We saw beautiful coral and sea life, had an incredible Thai food lunch on a deserted beach and felt taken care of the whole day. Don't hesitate to book a trip with 5 Star Marine!

Need improvement - The boat is superb. The staff are friendly. Only one concern, they seemed not used to accompany elders in snorkling nor always in alert to assist, in comparison with other services in other countries. It seemes they expected extra charge. We always did give tips for any extra helps though.
