Beautiful excursion - Perfectly organized. Starting from the hotel pick-up, the catering on the ship to the fantastic view from the viewpoint, which was absolutely worth the sweaty ascent (and the muscle soreness afterwards). Especially since one of the guides took not only many photos, but also a video, almost like a professional shoot, to remember. After visiting Emerald Lake there was also time for a dip while snorkeling before we got the booked kayaks and paddled along the picturesque limestone cliffs for about half an hour. With the leisurely boat ride an all-round beautiful experience!

A nice trip to the nature reserve - Very well organized, hotel pick-up, check-in, small breakfast, magnificent scenery, go swimming, view point - climbing stairs (was tiring but doable), lunch, paddling/swimming, nice relaxing return trip by boat. Shuttle to the hotel. It was a beautiful day.

Really cost effective way to experience the National Marine Park - A great cost effective way to see the National Marine Park and have a few hours on a tropical beach. The water was warm and the sand soft (unlike the beach at my hotel) and this was my only opportunity for a sea swim. Everything ran to time and safety precautions were in place.

Worth it - despite the crowds - We had a memorable day out and we thought the trip was good value for money. Bear in mind that there will likely be at least 100 other people on the boat, so it's a rather impersonal experience. The boat staff were friendly and helpful, but they can't possibly offer everyone personal attention given the number of people on board. You'll need to listen carefully to the instructions about what time you need to come back each time you step ashore, but it all worked smoothly enough. The marine park is lovely, but your boat will be just one of many boats there. Don't expect blissful peace and quiet! We highly recommend paying the extra for the kayaking: this was the one time we felt that we really felt at peace away from the crowds. If you arrive early enough to have a good choice of seats, we recommend sitting outside at the front of the boat: it's mostly shaded in both directions, and you have the pleasure of watching the land slowly appear and take shape in front of you. Do bear in mind that it's an hour and a half from Nathon Town to the marine park. You might want to take a book. Oh, and avoid flip flops if you're planning to walk the nature trail and head up to the viewpoint over the lagoon. Sandals would be idea, but not flip flops.

Good Tour, Could be better - The tour in general has great potential. Communication not so much. We arrived at the pier, paid our entrance fee for the park and received a green sticker. Boat ride to park was good. Breakfast was good. Arrive at the venue and that’s when the communication went sideways. Could barely understand the main tour guide. They put all the kayaks in the water and there was not enough for all so we didn’t get to kayak. Took a longboat to the beach. Walked the steep stairs to Blue Lagoon. That was pretty cool. Back to the boat to go to Angthong Park. Had a lovely lunch. Beautiful park. After arriving we were told that the hike to the lookout and the caves were not advisable unless you have proper shoes. No mention of that in the booking. Lastly the snorkeling was off the beach. Hardly anything to see except a few small boring fish. Water was quite cloudy. Overall a decent tour but could be so much better with a few more details before hand.

The views from climbing... - The views from climbing to the top are gorgeous. Kayaking is too expensive. The description of the tour leads us to believe kayaking is included but when you book the tour, there is option to choose. The option for kayaking is much expensive. Luckily we didn’t book because it’s only a 30 minutes ride but it costs 300 bants.

Not picked up. - We were ready to be picked up at 7.30 am but at 8.45 am no one was there yet. We tried to contact tripvisor but got no response. Let's just hope we get our money back.
