We set sail at 11:30 AM (because who needs early mornings?), and our first stop is the breathtaking Ko Nuang Yuan for an hour of pure beauty. Then, we’ll dive into the Japanese Garden for some epic snorkeling.
After all that fun, we’ll fuel up with lunch on board before heading to Mango Bay, where the marine life is so perfect it’s like swimming in a dream. Next, it’s off to Hing Wong Bay, and finally, we’ll make our way to Shark Bay (don’t worry, the sharks are friendly—or at least, they haven’t mentioned otherwise!)
On the way back to the pier, we’ll toast with refreshing mocktails and enjoy a BBQ feast on board. With only 20 people max, this private boat tour is all about good times, great vibes, and unforgettable memories, far away from the tourist crowds!

Highly recommend makes you feel like family - The absolute best snorkelling tour you can do at koh tao takes you to some amazing spots and keeps out of the weather times it perfect so your not snorkelling with 100 other people we had 7 on the boat it was amazing

Great snorkeling tour, highly recommended! - Today we did a snorkeling tour with Char and his fantastic crew. We started the day at Char and his wife Jum’s house with a good cup of coffee and a delicious Thai tea. What a warm welcome! From there we left for the boat. We visited several places where we could snorkel beautifully. He looks for bays where it is generally a bit quieter. We have seen so many fish, coral etc. underwater! Many thanks also to the crew who went with us into the water. We are very much looking forward to the videos that they made underwater. On board the boat we lacked nothing, we were very pampered. The lunch, cookies by Jum was delicious! But in between there was also delicious fresh fruit and on the way back we got yummie skewers from the BBQ with a nice refreshing glass of fresh lime juice.
Char does everything he can to make you happy. The boat is spacious and comfortable and he keeps the groups small. We would definitely choose Coco-tip adventures again!!!

Chad is the man! - Hi all, Joel from Miami, FL here. I saw this tour being offered on TripAdvisor as a more intimate and smaller snorkeling experience with a max of 30 people, and that is what drew me in to begin with. I am very happy to say that the actual tour was better than I could have ever expected. Chad, who runs the show, was one of the nicest and most positive people I have ever met, and was so welcoming as evidenced by him constantly referring to my friend and I as “family.” The snorkeling was also outstanding. We saw everything from baby Blacktip sharks, to sea turtles, stingrays, giant schools of fish, and more. The cliff jumping was awesome too. And Chad’s boat is super cool, fitted with a second floor covered in turf and netting to recline and enjoy the views. I highly recommend this experience to all who visit Koh Tao. I hope to return one day.

Our highlight on Koh Tao! - We (parents + 2 children) booked a private tour with Cheat and his Krew. Our expectations were more than exceeded! Everything was organized very well and Cheat knew the waters very well. Since we had a bit heavier seas that day, Cheat Koh Nangyuan recommended skipping out and snorkeling mainly on the east and south coasts instead. In the water Cheat and Lauren were always out with us, looking for turtles and sharks for us... we could watch a turtle eating. The best part was that Cheat always took photos and videos with his GoPro on the side and made them freely available to us! Thanks a lot for that!!!
The boat is in perfect condition! We had the upper deck to ourselves and the Krew stayed discreetly in the background, but was always alert. Water, biscuits and fresh fruit was offered to us regularly and the homemade lunch and BBQ skewers for the evening were delicious!
All in all, it was the best way for us to get to know Koh Tao's underwater world. We can warmly and unconditionally recommend Cheat and his Krew!

A fantastic snorkelling trip around koh Tao - Amazing trip around Koh Tao to beautiful snorkelling sites. Chart and Jum made sure my family and I had a great experience providing lovely food including a barbecue on the boat, guiding us to the right spots to see lovely coral, reef sharks and turtles, not limiting our time in the water, avoiding the crowds and taking pictures of the day above and below water. A very personal experience (unlike the other boats we saw) and a special day.

Best thing to do in Ko Tao - Amazing private boat trip around Koh Tao! The staff is great. We started with a great coffee with an incredible view of the island. Then we hit the top 5 spots for snorkeling, including the Japanese in Ko Nang Yuan, and Shark Bay. We were lucky to see the giant turtles and the innocuous sharks. Food is great, we recommend this trip from this company 100%!

Wonderful people and great experience! - What to expect when you book this tour: you start with an authentic Thai meal in the serene mountains of Koh Tao paired with one of the best views on the island. Once satiated, you will be sailing around the island on a spacious boat with delicious coffee available (REAL brewed coffee! None of that instant coffee bs!!) Before you know it, you’ll be snorkeling in pristine Thai waters admiring lots of corals, parrotfish, sea cucumbers, and some of the biggest turtles I have ever seen! Feeling slightly snack-ish after all that swimming? Don’t fret, you’ll be served some fresh, juicy island pineapple and watermelon. On the sail home, with salt in your hair and a smile on your face, you’ll sip a delicious mocktail made with fresh ingredients while admiring the golden sun as it glistens of Thailand’s mountainous and jungle terrain.
The family that leads this tour are some of the most genuine, generous people who truly want you to have the best time (and you’ll soon find that this is the Thai way!). I can guarantee you won’t regret booking this tour!

Well worth it! Better than the large commercial operations. - We had a wonderful time and they treated us very well. Different ages and physical abilities but the owner of the business runs the show and does a great job helping and accommodating everyone. He knows all the best places and opportunities.
