Highlights

  • Diving Koh Tao | Scuba Birds PADI Dive Center - Complete 5 specialized adventure dives. Each of them is different and devoted to a specific underwater activity.
    Theoretical and practical parts:
    During your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course less time will be devoted to the theoretical part, compared to the PADI Open Water Diver course, as you are already a certified diver and familiar with the basics of diving!
    There are no quizzes or exams! You will need to read through the 5 relevant chapters of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver manual and complete the knowledge reviews relating to those chapters. Before each adventure dive you will also receive a detailed briefing where your PADI instructor will share their own experience regarding the adventure dives you choose to do.

There are 5 dives included in the course and 2 of those are mandatory:
Deep dive
You will dive to a depth of 30 meters and learn how to control your air consumption during the deep diving.
Underwater Navigation
You will improve your underwater navigation skills; learn how to use a dive compass and spot visual landmarks.
Choose the remaining 3 adventure dives of your choice based on your own interests in diving:

Best dive school on Koh Tao - Vishal was an exceptional dive instructor with Scuba Birds. I was a little nervous initially but he quickly put me at ease and taught the course information clearly & built my skills over the 5 dives

Most amazing two days! - A big thanks to Damian and Scuba Birds for two amazing days and 5 amazing dives. I highly recommend Scuba Birds and ask for Damian, we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He’s so much and fun and so patient, he made us all feel super comfortable and secure. Over all, two amazing days.

10/10 Dive experience! - I had a fantastic 2 days diving with Scuba Birds. I wasn’t exactly sure which dive school to choose on the island but after a recommendation from a friend I decided to try them out. They were well worth it! Very professional team and instructor Nelly comes highly recommended. She made me feel comfortable in the water and also helped out wherever necessary whilst teaching me a lot on the go too. I’ll happily be returning to scuba birds in the future for some fun dives when I come back to Koh Tao

Scuba Birds is great! - Scuba Birds is a great outfit. Communications and coordination leading up to our arrival could not have been better. Dominik was our instructor for our 2-day advanced course. He was a superstar! Professional, highly competent, and a lot of fun!

Great scuba instructors, and good prices! - I had such a great time at this dive school, 100% recommend them! I did the open water and and advanced open water courses with Nelly as my instructor. She was such a cool lady, and she was so patient with me. Im definitely coming back here when i decide to further my education!

Great experience - I went for the advanced padi course, currently staying in Koh Phangan, the school offered me a very interesting package with transfer + PADI course + accommodation included. My instructor Nelly, was very friendly and nice taking the time to show me all the interesting underwater places of Ko Tao. Totally recommended !

Great Diving School! - Did both my Open Water Course and Advanced Open Water Course in this school and it was great! The best price I found in the island, our instructor Kray was great as well. Overall lots of fun in great dive sites

Great experience for sure! - I did my open water, advanced open water and couple of fun dives with Scuba Birds, everyone is really friendly and helpful and you start to feel yourself as a part of the team. It was my first diving experience, I had 11 dives and now wondering why I haven't tried diving earlier in my life. But I'm happy, I finally had. And of course I would like to mention my instructor, Nelly Varlygina, she is an absolutely fantastic person and instructor, she puts a great effort in what she does and goes beyond every day to make sure you really enjoy your dives. Thank you so much!
