The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I found myself boarding a speedboat in Krabi, ready to embark on a full-day snorkeling adventure to the Hong and Yao Islands. The anticipation was palpable, and the small group of fellow adventurers, no more than 20 of us, buzzed with excitement.
