Kochi (Cochin) - Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative. They will welcome you and arrange for a private chauffeur-driven transport to your hotel. While your room keys and check-in are being organized, our representative will provide you with a “Welcome Folder” containing important documents and give you a brief overview of the tour program.
Mattancherry Palace - In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Cochin, including a visit to the Dutch Palace, built by the Portuguese and known for its murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, as well as the dresses and palanquins used by Cochin’s former rulers. You will also visit the Koonan Kurishu Shrine, a small chapel, and the Jewish Synagogue, which features copper plates inscribed with Hebrew script. Other highlights include Fort Kochi, St. Francis Church (the oldest European-built church in India), Santa Cruz Basilica with its beautifully painted ceiling, and the Chinese Fishing Nets near Cochin’s harbor entrance. The afternoon is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - In the afternoon, visit Kumarakom, a must-see destination in Kerala. The main attraction is the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, set in 14 acres of woodland. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of migratory birds and offers visitors the chance to sail in its backwaters. Sailing in the boathouses here is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The houseboats, poled by local oarsmen, are typically furnished with a living room, a bedroom, a private sit-out area, and various water-related recreational options. Kumarakom is also renowned for its old churches and highly popular Ayurveda treatments. Overnight stay at the hotel.
