The tour starts from the harbor and heads to Fort Kochi (30-minute drive).

2. Visit the Church of St. Francis (5-minute walk).

3. This is the first European church in India, where Vasco da Gama was initially buried before being moved to Portugal (15 minutes).

1. Drive from Kochi harbor to Alleppey Backwaters (1 hour 45 minutes).

2. Board a pre-arranged houseboat and start a 2-hour backwater cruise.

The houseboats, once spice boats, have been converted for tourists with bedrooms, a kitchen, and a spacious lobby.

3. Cruise along the backwaters, passing palm-fringed rice paddies and tiny villages, offering a unique experience.
