• Fort Kochi Beach - The tour begins with a 30-minute drive from the harbor or hotel to Fort Kochi by car or van.

Upon arrival at Fort Kochi, tour members will transfer to waiting tuk-tuks.

In the tuk-tuks, the tour will proceed to Fort Kochi Beach, where the Chinese Fishing Nets are located (Vasco da Gama Square).

• Chinese Fishing Nets - The first stop at Fort Kochi Beach will be the Chinese Fishing Nets.
• Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica - From the Church of St. Francis, the tour will walk to Santa Cruz (15 minutes).

Visit Santa Cruz (15 minutes).

• Fort Kochi - From Santa Cruz, the tour will walk to the Fort Kochi Bus Stand (15 minutes).
• Church of Saint Francis - From the Chinese Fishing Nets, the tour will walk 5 minutes to the Church of St. Francis.

Visit the church (15 minutes).

• Mattancherry Palace - From the Mattancherry Bus Stand, the group will walk to the Mattancherry Palace Museum, also known as the Dutch Palace. Visit the Dutch Palace (30 minutes).
• Jew Town - After visiting the Dutch Palace, the tour will walk to Jew Town (5 minutes).

Jew Town is fascinating with its ancient residential buildings, which were home to Jewish people 450 years ago. These buildings are now gift shops.

Wander around Jew Town (30 minutes).

• Paradesi Synagogue - The tour then proceeds to the Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the British Commonwealth and one of the few orthodox synagogues in the world.

Visit the synagogue (15 minutes).

After this visit, the tour will end, and all travelers will be transferred back to the starting point.

• Mattancherry - From Fort Kochi, the tour will travel by public bus to Mattancherry (30 minutes).

Discover the “Essentials of Kochi & Its People.” Experience traveling in an Indian Ferrari (Tuk Tuks) and Public Buses. All major attractions of Kochi are included in this tour. You will be greeted at the Cruise Terminal if arriving by sea (our staff will hold a sign with your name) or at the lobby of your hotel.

You will be transferred to an air-conditioned car or van to the heritage area of Kochi. Then, ride in tuk tuks to explore the attractions in Fort Kochi. After visiting the Chinese Fishing Nets and the Church of St. Francis, board a public bus to travel to Jewish Town. Upon alighting from the bus, enjoy a leisurely walk to Jewish Town. In Jewish Town, visit the synagogue and Dutch Palace. Later, wander around the Jewish Town, admire the buildings of the Jewish settlement, go shopping, or relax on the balcony of a restaurant or in the courtyard of a Jewish house to enjoy tea, coffee, and Indian snacks.

Finally, board the air-conditioned car or van to return to your ship or hotel.
