Cochin – Arrival

Kochi (Cochin) - Upon arrival, a representative will warmly welcome you at Cochin Airport or Railway Station and escort you to your hotel in Cochin. Later, embark on a half-day city sightseeing tour of Cochin, visiting attractions such as the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Enjoy an overnight stay in Cochin.

Chinese Fishing Nets - These are stationary lift nets found in India, known locally as “shore operated lift nets.” They are fixed land installations used for fishing and are commonly referred to as “Chinese fishing nets” in India.

Church of Saint Francis - Located in Fort Kochi, Kochi, St. Francis Church was originally built in 1503. It is one of the oldest European churches in India and holds significant historical importance as a silent witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent.

Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica - Situated in Fort Kochi, the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica is one of the eight Basilicas in Kerala. Recognized as a heritage edifice, it is one of the most impressive churches in India, attracting tourists year-round.

Mattancherry Palace - Known as the Dutch Palace, this Portuguese palace in Mattancherry, Kochi, features Kerala murals depicting portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi. It is included in the “tentative list” of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Cochin to Munnar

Munnar - After breakfast, proceed to Munnar, a serene and tranquil tourist destination in God’s own country. En route, enjoy the beautiful waterfalls at Cheeyappara and the vibrant flowers at Blossom Garden. Spend the rest of the day exploring nature. Overnight stay at the hotel or resort.

Cheeyappara Waterfalls - Located on the Kochi - Madurai Highway between Neriamangalam and Adimali in Idukki district, Kerala, the Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven steps and is a popular spot for trekking.

Munnar - Sightseeing

Munnar - After breakfast, embark on a morning sightseeing tour of Munnar, visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Mattupetty Lake & Dam, and Kundala Lake. Along the way, stop at Echo Point, View Point, and the lush Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at a Munnar hotel.

Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park - This 97 km² national park is located along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala and is the first national park in the state.

Kannan Devan Tea Museum - Situated in Munnar, the KDHP Tea Museum, also known as the Tata Tea Museum or Kannan Devan Hills Plantation Tea Museum, showcases the history and industry of tea production.

Kundala Dam Lake - Kundala Lake offers a stunning view of majestic landscapes and rich forests.

Munnar to Thekkady

Thekkady - After breakfast, head to Thekkady, which offers attractions like the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station, and Spice Plantation. Enjoy a wildlife cruise to observe a variety of wildlife, including wild elephants, Nilgiri langur, and sambar deer. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Periyar National Park - Located near Thekkady, Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area known for being an elephant and tiger reserve.

Thekkady to Alleppey

Alleppey Backwaters - After breakfast, check out and proceed to Alleppey. Upon arrival, board a traditionally decorated houseboat and begin an enchanting backwater cruise. The unique backwaters of Kerala are found nowhere else in the world. A glide in a “Kettuvallam” (houseboat) through these waters is sure to captivate you. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay on the Alleppey houseboat.

Alleppey to Kovalam

Kovalam Beach - After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam Beach, known as the “Paradise of the South.” Visit the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam, including Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach, and Lighthouse Beach. Overnight stay at a Kovalam hotel or resort.

Kovalam - Departure to Trivandrum Airport or Cochin Airport
