A foodies delight and recommended for those who would like to eat like a local...with a local. - A delicious experience tailored uniquely to personal taste. I fell off the vegetarian wagon and had the most delicious beef biriyani with black tea followed by a stop at a vegetarian restaurant for porotta, a sort of flaky ultra delicious bread with vegetable dip and what can best be described as lentil doughnuts with coconut milk. A third stop produced sugar cane with lime and ginger to drink. Too sweet for me but I'm sure those who like sweet things would love it. I'm only sorry that being a small person I couldn't do justice to more on the amazing menus. My guide was very knowledgeable about the food but conversation covered other topics and he was equally happy to answer any questions I had on topics such as health care, education and cricket! As a female solo traveller I felt thoroughly looked after and safe venturing to local eateries and onto streets I'd never have found alone.

A tasty tour! - This is fun. A couple of hours in a tuk tuk taken to try many unusual dishes that only the locals know about. A friendly guide who really listens to your likes and dislikes and adapts the tour to suit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Food Tour by Biju! - I had a fantastic time on my food tour with Biju! He's a local, which was obvious by the way he maneuvered us through the neighborhood, greeting passers by and shopkeepers. He asked me about my food preferences and what foods and snacks I had already tried, and had some great suggestions. Biju shared some local history, showed me his street, stopped for me to pick up a last minute souvenir I had not been able to find on my own, and even ended our tour by dropping me back at my hotel doorstep! And the food... wow! I had been able to try lots of foods and snacks on my trip, but I hadn't been served anything very spicy, even when I tried to order hot foods. Biju got us some excellent (& spicy!) main dishes, some breads, chai and made sure I had bottled water to drink. I tried fresh squeezed sugar cane juice with lime and ginger, and also tried a local lime soda at another spot. I loved every item Biju suggested. The places Biju took me were on the blocks he shops and eats at, not on the tourist stretch along the water. I will definitely ask Biju about his other tours when planning my next visit. I highly recommend Biju's food tour to anyone wanting an alternative to the tourist stretch of old town Kochi. Thanks Biju!

Must do foody trip on kochi - Excellent trip, communication with Biju was great before the tour, Meeting point easy to find into the Tuk, Tuk & off we went Biju was very relaxed & wanted us to try something new so adapted the stops to suit dishes we wanted to try, Excellent avocado smoothie, chai tea with samosas, veg patties, we then stopped as I mentioned I liked the red bananas so we all hoped off the tuk,tuk to get one, we then did a stop with various curries & different breads/rice cakes, ended with sugar cane juice as we hadn’t yet tried that, did offer us another stop but we was stuffed, Fab time took us off the tourist streets & into where the locals eat which we loved also pointed out lots of interesting places.

Fun, and tasty - A good tasting tour of Indian foods. Our guide was chatty, informative and happy to take us to many places.

Biju tours - Biju is such a sweet guy. He personalized the tour based on what we wanted to try. I would really recommend people to take this tour to have the real experience of what local people eat!!

tuktuk tour through different Indian cuisines - Great food tour around the different neighborhoods of Kochi by tuktuk, really nice guide that knows all the best local places. He customises the tour to your preferences so you have the best experience. As we did this tour on our last day of our 5week trip through India he really tried to find things we hadn’t tried yet. Would recommend!
