Perfect introduction to a beautiful city - Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Clearly knows and loves the area very well and is connected closely to the community here. So many brilliant anecdotes about past and present life in the town, and went out of her way to recommend many interesting locations. Could not recommend more!

Walk in Fort Kochi - Today I had the pleasure of taking an hour and a half city tour with Ajita. It was an extremely rewarding experience as she has always lived in Fort Cochi and played an important role in the development of her neighbourhood. She really had stories of every kill, people, houses - really, impossible to have a better guide. The 90 minutes were gone in an instant. Thank you again!😍

A must do activity for all history lovers visiting Fort Kochi - We were a varied group of seven, including an octogenarian, with mobility challenges, two more senior citizens one of whom is multiple cancer survivor, a girl who just got into her teens. One thing that binds us all is our love for history and to learn & understand a place like a local would. We were fortunate to have discovered Ajitha, a local Fort kochi lady, also a mathematics teacher, with a deep rooted knowledge of history & abundant love for her quaint town inside “Gods own country” She is an amazing lady who as a teenager along with her elder siblings have been instrumental from the mid seventies in making Fort Kochi an art decor hub as well as reviving it’s glorious past. Her love for the local area is infectious & reflected in her passion to share her knowledge with a smiling face. The day spent with her flew rapidly as we were all mesmerised with the good, bad & ugly anecdotes of local history. As Ajitha so aptly mentions “All history is important- Good or Bad” We would highly recommend Ajitha Skaria for her amazing walks which helped us delve deeper into the intricacies of Fort Kochi & Kerala

Besides being a treasure trove of historical information, it was great to discover her personal family connection which added to the pleasure of the walk with her.
