Don’t think, just do! (2 days, 1 night Munnar) - It was an amazing experience and well worth the price! We did the 2 days 1 night trip and thought that was the perfect amount of time. Our driver Ubaid was very kind and helpful, often pointing things out along the drive that we might have otherwise missed. He also recommended a lovely lunch spot for us on the journey. Our stay at the hotel was lovely too- they provided an outstanding breakfast and dinner with more than enough food. The standout of our trip was definitely the tea estate walk…be ready for some steep inclines and walking off the beaten track. Our guide Ramesh was so patient with us and we enjoyed talking to him about his life. When you’re in Munnar town, be sure to check out the cultural dance Kathikali and the fight show (tickets were ~£3 per show). Overall we had a great time and could not reccommend this anymore

Great experience with nice people - I see a lot of positive reviews over Stanley Wilson Tour and can affirm - they are genuine. So happy to take a private 2 nights 3 days tour to Munnar. The manager was very honest (we were unable to book a trip for the first time due to the monsoon conditions, and I’m glad to say that the manager cares about your life and travel experience). The driver Ubaid picked us up from our apartment (the driving skills of Ubaid is amazing: it’s difficult to relax on Indian road traffic, but for us it was possible even take a nap). The hotel was simple, but the stuff were so careful (they provided us with delicious breakfasts and dinners, and were careful about spicy options, explained what Indian food did we eat and even gave us apples as desert (apples are quite expensive in India)). The tea plantation tour with our guide Ramesh was so peaceful. Nice to see a person who loves his work and shares his experience and knowledge. He prepared for us a small lunch with local biscuits and juice. It was very thoughtful and nice of him. The weather was dry but shifts to the rain, so it is better to be prepared to the weather conditions (raincoats, crocs and waterproof socks made us enjoying every minute of our trip). The weather in Munnar is colder, so some warm clothes may be useful. All excursions are very mind provoking. So happy to take this tour with such amazing people.

Amazing trip to Munnar! - Very glad we did this tour during our visit to Kerala! Ubaid, our driver, was so sweet and drove very safely. The tour at the tea museum was really interesting as the factory is in operation! We extended our tour by staying at the Red Sparrow and having a 3 hour hike with guide Ramesh the next day, he was knowledgeable and the views were incredible. Would absolutely recommend!

Excellent 2-night stay in Munnar - Very enjoyable tour to Munnar, extremely reasonably-priced. Our driver, Shahjahan, was a very good and careful driver - very important when navigating windy and mountainous roads (and other unpredictable and often impatient, road users!) The hotel in Munnar is ideally placed and we were really well looked after by Robin and the staff (and we now have a great dhal recipe - thanks, Robin! 😉). Ramesh was a kind and knowledgeable guide for the tea plantation trek, which had stunning views. We have only dropped one star because the trek is actually much tougher than we imagined (or were led to believe). We would not (and indeed did not) make the final summit climb on the trek, due to health issues and inadequate footwear for the task. We believe that this should be made clearer at the time of booking. That said, it would still be good value without the trek. And we personally had a very enjoyable time. Thank you.
