Explore the Karst region and the coastline of Slovenia. Begin your journey with the UNESCO protected Skocjan Caves, one of Europe’s most captivating and largest Karstic locations, where the Reka River flows 200m beneath the surface. After this, take a halt at a local tavern to taste the renowned Karst air-dried prosciutto, served with the regional wine Teran that’s exclusive to the Karst area. Briefly visit Lipica, known for the white Lipizzaner horses. Traverse through the coastal settlements of Koper, Izola and Portoroz to arrive at the most appreciated Slovenian coastal destination - Piran, a place where you can immerse yourself in medieval, narrow streets and buildings during some spare time.
The last stopover is at the Predjama Castle before heading towards Ljubljana. Uncover the mysteries of the largest cave castle, according to the Guinness World Records, perched on a cliff 123-meter high, and hear tales about the local Robin Hood, the mythical knight Erazem.
