Stunning experience, you will remember this forever! - Superb experience! So very, very beautiful up in the sky with the snow and the glaciers. We even saw a pair of chamois scrambling up the mountain. Matt the pilot was a really friendly guy who has understandable enthusiasm for his job. If you are looking at the cost and thinking should you do it you really should! Highly recommended.

Fantastic helicopter tour - Came across Precision Helicopters on our way to Hokitika Gorge & so glad we did. Brilliant flight over 6 local glaciers & surrounding area. Great knowledgeable & fun commentary by pilot Matt throughout the flight. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get up close to glaciers.

Top NZ Helicopter Flight - Outstanding. We were in Hokitika for one night transiting back to Christchurch and booked a flight with the lovely Matthew at Precision for 6 Glaciers. The day before, we had to re arrange the flight as weather closing in for our scheduled flight. Matthew went above and beyond, reopening at 5.30pm to take us on a magical early evening flight before the weather arrived. Utterly superb description by Matthew as we flew up to East side of Alps and along valley floor, landing below glaciers for memorable photos. Totally brilliant.

Best part of our trip! - Our best experience on our NZ trip! Worth every cent. Lily was very friendly and helped with all the coordination in this boutique family business. Matt was so nice and flexible with our booking. The views from the helicopter are crazy, and Matt provides with interesting info during the trip. Then you kand in a glacier where you can walk around and take some more pictures before returning home. Would love to do it again! /The Swedish couple

Great heli flight with Matt, a great pilot - Due to poor visibility, our flight was postponed on the first day. On the second day Matt really did everything he could to get us to take the helicopter flight. At the end of the day the conditions were great for flying and Matt came to the pick-up point especially to fly with us. Great views and Matt told us a lot about the origins of the NZ Alps and flora and fauna. Made landfall in the mountains and he took pictures of us. It is a real family business, very involved and very customer-friendly. Highly recommended!!!!

Mesmerizing aerial adventure you should not miss. - I have personally experienced heli rides flying over Hawaii, the Grand Canyon, Phuket, Bali and just prior to this, the Franz Josef glacier tour. I would say absolutely none of them comes even near this tour Matt gave us. He win em hands down! We initially booked a ride in Franz Josef but due to unpromising weather, it was cut shot into a mere 10 minute flight. Dismayed as we had made it so far out to experience the glacier landing, I googled and god smiled on us today for getting to Precision Helicopters Hokitika. It was a full hour ride with breathtaking views of the Southern Alps, visiting the less popular glaciers that are equally mesmerizing, and seeing the turquoise waters of the Hokitika Gorge. Detailed commentary on everything along the ride, the snow landing and Matt's entertaining jokes and accommodative gestures to both kids made everything absolutely perfect. Truly one memorable aerial adventure for me and the family.

Great flight with a great pilot! - Great flight with a very experienced pilot! Due to bad weather in Franz Josef we decided to head up to Hokitika and were recommended this company. Best recommendation ever! Matt is a very experienced and skilled pilot as well as a great person. The views of the glaciers are amazing and he made the whole experience very easy! He gives great tips of the area as well as making you feel very comfortable and at ease. Would highly recommend flying with him!
