Amazing trek expedition - The Kolahoi Glacier expedition was amazing trek with almost biblical views and some really great experiences. Definitely a trip for those that like off-the-beaten-track adventures. We had a wonderful time, enjoying every moment. Habib was an excellent guide, always making sure everyone was happy at all times. He really is fantastic, we were really pleased we had such a good guide with us and Kashmir Treks team possessed such a wealth of knowledge!

An awesome wonder in Kashmir - Wow I had a great time with Kashmir Treks!! The web-site is informative and amazing. I was able to quickly locate the trips that I wanted to take. I did the Kolahoi Glacier Trek. It's a very different trek and I loved it. A steep ascend through the pines is the most difficult part of the trek. Once you are up in the meadows walking becomes easy and comforting. Our guide Habib was informative, smart, friendly and very kind. Additionally, he was extremely attentive to everyone's safety. I would recommend this highly to anyone that likes to camp, walk and do a range of outdoor activities. This company has done its research and has a great formulas for these trips that works a treat!!!!! Well done guys.

Real mountain beauty. - I first tramped with Kashmir Treks in 2014. We were unable to do some of the treks at the time but I vowed to come back. Last month I had a few days after the ease of covid restrictions. I was delighted to have the same wonderful guide, Habib. The trip culminated in the Aru Valley Crossing which was the main hike we missed on the first trip. It was challenging, but I'm really glad to have done it.

Kolahoi & Kashmir - One of the best treks of my life. Kolahoi trek offers splendid mountain beauty. Although the trek is not an easy go but it's a worth to go on the trek. Walking through the pine forest and meadows is the highlight of the trek. I did the trek with my friends. We were three people and booked through Kashmir Treks. The staff was friendly and informative. The equipment was of a good quality. We recommend Kashmir Treks.

The mountain scenery is breathtaking, tents were spacious and clean. All the trek equipment was upto the mark. As per the company we were given the best guide Habib which he proved to be very polite and hardworking guy. We were served the fresh meals everytime we asked. We recommend Kashmir Treks as the first choice in Kashmir. Thanks, Reen's and the Family

Weather spoiled our trail - Kolahoi Glacier Trek has some of the most varied terrain one can ever witness in such a short distance. We took 6 days to cover the trek from Gagangir to Aru, via Satlanjan. From Gagangir, though, it's really steep hike and sketchy if there is bad weather. My hiking partner and I have covered a lot of trail miles, and when the weather descended upon us at high elevation it became extremely difficult to find those shepherd huts. I don't think I would have made it to the hut if I had been alone. Seeing that hut materialize out of the pea soup-like fog seemed like a miracle. We stayed in huts every night except for one. The camping area at Satlanjan seemed like the nicest to us, although it's a little down a hill (but that gives it more weather protection, too). We don't normally stay in huts, but I'm really glad to find those huts on this trail because the weather was quite bad at several sites. So, if geology and fascinating landscapes are your thing, then make sure to do this trek! If, however, you'd rather hike in sunny and dry conditions, hike somewhere other than Kolahoi, we happened to hit the trail in one of the worst weather summers in Kashmir, but still, do some googling and you'll be hard pressed to find any trip report with good weather each day of the trek.
