Kolkata (Calcutta) - At 9:00 AM, our Host/Guide will meet you at your hotel or any preferred location in Kolkata. Begin your tour with a visit to Mother Teresa’s House to learn about her remarkable humanitarian work. Next, explore the South Park Street Cemetery, one of the world’s earliest non-church cemeteries. Visit the iconic Victoria Memorial, a stunning piece of architecture. Stroll through ‘White Town,’ the colonial area developed by the British East India Company. Stop by the famous Indian Coffee House and wander around “Boi-Para” (Book Colony), the largest second-hand book market in the world and the biggest book market in India. Enjoy a ride on the renowned Calcutta Tram. Visit the Black Hole Monument to learn about the history of the British Raj in India. Conclude your day with a visit to the vibrant Jain Temple to gain insight into the local religion.

Raj Bhavan - Raj Bhavan is the official residence of the Governor of West Bengal, located in Kolkata, the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. Built in 1803, it was known as Government House before Indian independence.
Writers Building - Originally serving as the main administrative office for writers (junior clerks) of the British East India Company, the Writer’s Building was designed by Thomas Lyon in 1777. It has undergone numerous extensions over the centuries. Since India’s independence in 1947, it housed the office of the Chief Minister of West Bengal, cabinet ministers, and other senior officials until a major restoration was announced on October 4, 2013.
Maidan - The Maidan (open field), also known as the Brigade Parade Ground, spans 988 acres and is the largest urban park in Asia. It includes numerous playgrounds, such as the famous Eden Gardens cricket venue, several football stadiums, and the Kolkata Race Course. The Maidan is adorned with statues and architectural works, the most notable being the Victoria Memorial.
Fort William - Fort William is a fort in Hastings, Kolkata, built during the early years of the Bengal Presidency of British India. Located on the eastern banks of the Hooghly River, it is one of Kolkata’s most enduring Raj-era structures. Named after King William III, the fort is situated in front of the Maidan, the largest park in the country. Today, it serves as the Headquarters of the Eastern Command of the Indian Army.

Kolkata - Sunderbans - Kolkata
Kolkata (Calcutta) - At 7:00 AM, our Host/Guide will meet you at your hotel or any other preferred location in Kolkata. Travel to the Sunderbans by private A/C car (approximately 3 hours/100 km), passing through the picturesque countryside of beautiful Bengal.
Gadkhali - Upon arrival at Godkhali port, you will board your boat and be served a welcome drink. Proceed to the Sunderban Tiger Reserve Forest, visiting Gosaba and its attractions such as Hamilton’s Bungalow, Rabindranath Tagore House, Market, and more along the way.
Sundarbans National Park - Arrive at Sajnekhali and wait while the host arranges permits to visit the Sunderbans Tiger Reserve Forest. After obtaining the permits, visit the Mangrove Interpretation Centre and Watch Tower. Continue to the Dobanki Watch Tower, Panchamukhani, Pirkhali, Nobanki, Gajikhali, Choragajikhali, and Sudhanyakhali watchtowers by boat. Lunch will be served on the boat. After the tour, at 5:00 PM, return to Kolkata from Godkhali by private car.

Your itinerary includes a Sunderbans Jungle Day Tour by boat where you’ll be exploring the vast mangrove forest and Tiger reserve. The jungle safaris are carried out on a well-maintained boat.
