  • St. Paul’s Cathedral - The cathedral was constructed to replace St. John’s Church, which had become inadequate for Calcutta’s expanding European population; by 1810, Bengal had 4,000 British men and 300 British women.
  • Mother House - First, we will take you to visit Mother Teresa’s House to see her tomb, followed by Nirmal Hriday, where Mother Teresa lived with her sisters to serve the people.
  • Indian Museum (Jadu Ghar) - The Indian Museum in Kolkata, also known as the Imperial Museum at Calcutta in colonial-era texts, is the ninth oldest museum in the world and the largest in India. It houses rare collections of antiques, ornaments, fossils, skeletons, mummies, and Mughal paintings from 1600 CE.
  • Victoria Memorial Hall - Next, we will visit the majestic Victoria Memorial, a marble structure built in memory of Queen Victoria. It combines Mughal and British architecture and currently serves as a museum displaying paintings, miniatures, statues, and books, offering an in-depth understanding of Indian history.
  • Birla Temple - Spanning 44 kathas of land, this white marble temple resembles the famous Lingaraj Temple of Bhubaneswar. Birla Mandir also features stone engravings depicting scenes from the Bhagavad Gita and intricate Rajasthani temple architecture.
  • Kumartuli - Kumortuli is a traditional potters’ quarter in northern Kolkata, West Bengal, renowned for its sculpting skills. The area produces clay idols for various festivals and regularly exports them.
  • Kalighat Kali Temple - Kalighat Kali Temple is a Hindu temple in Kalighat, Kolkata, West Bengal, dedicated to the goddess Kali. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Kalighat was a ghat sacred to Kali on the old course of the Hooghly River in Kolkata.
  • Prinsep Ghat - Prinsep Ghat is a ghat built in 1841 during the British Raj along the Kolkata bank of the Hooghly River. The Palladian porch, designed by W. Fitzgerald and constructed in 1843, commemorates the Anglo-Indian scholar and antiquary James Prinsep.
  • BBD Bagh - Drive past Dalhousie Square: General Post Office, Shaheed Minar, Eden Gardens, Akashvaani Bhawan, Howrah Station, Writers’ Building, Governor’s House, Ghat of Ganges, High Court, Maidan, Town Hall, Fort William, Race Course.
