A nice trip to the Troodus mountains - We enjoyed our visit to the Caledonian Falls . Our day started with a visit to a fruit farm , where we got to sample some of their produce , which was nice . The walk itself, is on uneven paths ,with largish stones , which required climbing over , in order to reach the waterfalls . For the more agile amongst us ( Not me , I’m afraid ) you could walk from the top down . Mum , Hubby & me opted to start our walk from the bottom up to the falls , as we are all pensioners . We are fairly fit and do quite a lot of walking back home but this walk was in 30 degrees and all uphill . The TUI tour guide , advised us that the walk would be a bit much for us , so thank you for the advice , it would have been . The restaurant for a late lunch was at Psilo Dendro , a lovely location with good food . We had a brief stop at Aphrodite’s rock before heading back to our respective hotels . A good tour , excellent guide but consider the weather if you wish to book this tour .
