• Epta Piges - Once everyone has been picked up by our minivan, our private tour of Rhodes island begins with a visit to the Seven Springs. This natural wonder features seven springs that create a stunning landscape. The area is home to various bird species. You’ll enjoy walking through the dark, narrow stream tunnel leading to the lagoon and waterfall. It’s not for the claustrophobic or those afraid of the dark, but it’s worth the adventure!
• Valley of the Butterflies - Next, we head to Butterfly Valley, a rare habitat for the Panaxia Quadripunctaria butterfly, which appears from mid-June to late September. Some of these butterflies are extremely rare and found in only a few places worldwide. We ensure an early arrival to experience the valley’s tranquility before other tour groups arrive. The valley features pine-covered areas, a stream, shady paths, ponds, wooden bridges, and small waterfalls.
• Embonas - As we travel to the west coast, we pass through small villages built amphitheatrically on the island’s highest mountains. Known for wine production and beekeeping, the village of Embonas is 54 km from Rhodes town, halfway up Mount Attavyros. This charming village is surrounded by vineyards and is famous for a unique grape variety dating back to antiquity. It’s the heart of the local wine industry, making it perfect for a wine-tasting tour. You’ll have the opportunity to sample various local wines and visit the renowned Traditional House of Embonas.
• Siana - A traditional village featuring the St. Panteleimon church.
• Monolithos - Our next stop is Monolithos village. Just past the village center, we’ll pause to take in the breathtaking view of Chalki island and capture panoramic photos.
• Apolakkia - Known for its famous watermelons.
• Prassonissi - Heading south, we reach the island’s southern tip, Prasonissi Beach. Here, the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas meet, allowing you to swim in both seas within seconds.
• Kiotari - Our final stop is in the Kiotari area for lunch at a local Greek family taverna. You can browse the a la carte menu and order delicious starters and main courses (payment on the spot).
