Lovely winery - The winery was lovey. The hosts were so nice and funny. The wines, cheeses, meats and bread were all made by the family and were amazing A lovely way to spend a few hours outside of Dubrovnik.

Best wine and food tasting ever - Everything about this tour was fantastic, not just small sips of wine , 4 large glasses along with delicious home made cheese and lovey fresh meats , freshly grown salad and the best home made bread freshly made that day, followed by 5 different types of home made grappa , this family run business is the best ever and we have been to a few, this was worth every penny and we would recommend this above any other

A truly memorable wine tasting that was superbly organised - This was an absolute fantastic 10 person wine tasting in a family run winery (Botaro). All my wife and I (plus the others) had to do was: learn about the 4 wines on offer; drink them; and eat the lovely meats, cheeses and salads - ALL, like the wines, home made and grown. We were all collected from our various hotel by the lovely Azra, taken to a collection point, and then driven in a comfy mini-bus by the charming Peter. The host speaker, Anthony was knowledgeable and poured very generous amounts of the different wines. There was no rushing us through the tastings and, after about the 3rd wine, we were all very happy and getting quite merry insomuch that we had an Internation sing-song amongst our lovely group consisting of: Irish; American; Australian and Japanese. The singing got even better when, to our surprise, we were taken to a different area to sample 7 different spirits of contrasting strengths. Afterwards and getting merrier, we were invited by 'Mother' to buy (absolutely no pressure) the wines and spirits that we tasted. We then boarded our mini-bus where the charming Peter, drove us back to our Hotels (more singing involved). The whole experiance was fabulous, from the time we were picked up, to the time we were all returned. Thank you, City of Stone, for a memorable day, and thank you to the Botaro family for lovely wines and spirits and for making my wife and I so happy.

Great fun! - All of the wine we sampled was lovely! Anthony from the family, introduced each wine but also added plenty of humour and charisma to the experience. The food was great as was the company 😋 would highly recommend!

Thank you 'Grandma'! - Gorgeous wines (and extremely generous amounts!), excellent host, stunning location and delicious homemade charcuterie. Azra was punctual and collected us from our accommodation. We arrived as 19 strangers and through the power of delicious wine had a roaringly good time with people from around the globe. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to have a tour around the vineyard which would have been nice, but the trip was finished off with a chance to explore Cavat for an hour on our way home.

Relaxing, informative. delicious - A fabulous half day. Family run winery with clear family values and beliefs. Lovely wine in generous servings. Everything was made on site; cheeses, bread, smoked meats, liqueurs. We weren’t rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Visit to Cavtat with a drink by the water rounded off a lovely afternoon/evening

Fun but not a true winery experience - If you are looking for a true wine tasting experience you may want to look elsewhere. This winery is completely geared towards tourist visits. The young man did a great job of making us feel welcome although his spiel was too heavy on the kitschy remarks for my taste (for example, "this is our breakfast wine", etc. This winery does not sell wine outside the winery. Their business relies solely on tourist business. I was looking for a winery experience similar to Napa, New Zealand, Chile, etc. The food was good and pours were very generous. The chardonnay was good but I found better reds at the wine bar in Dubrovnik.
