One day tour - Great trip, collected in the morning from my hotel and brought to ferry. Very friendly and helpful guides who brought us to the volcano and had time to explore the island before being dropped back to the hotel again.

Great experience. - Great day out. Coach up high the mountain on little roads, bit scary at times then we had to come down where we went in the crater. Steep path going down into the crater and very smelly and hot once down there. Was a killer walking back up in 34 degree heat. Need sensible shoes.

Wonderful experience - All of it was great but the walk into the caldera was surreal. It was so hot, the colours and the smell of sulphur leave a lasting impression. Martha was lovely, very informative and so helpful. Well organised and Mandraki was so authentic. We ate at Vegas in the square - wonderful! And much less expensive through Viator!

Another great value, well organised trip. - Excellent trip with excellent communication throughout from Viator and tour compamy. Very well organised and a really enjoyable day. Good value. Unless you have a particular interest in the Monastery of Panagia Spiliani, probably not worth the entrance fee in our opinion.

Fantastic trip to a beautiful island - From pick up to drop off was faultless . When we arrived in Kardamena we were met by guides who informed us of our day . We were then taken to the boat . On Nisyros Martha was waiting for us to board buses to the volcano . The volcano was amazing to see . After free time at the volcano we were transported back and Martha guided us to the main square , informing us on way of different things . We took the walk to the monastery. This is a must as there you get spectacular views over Nisyros . There was ample free time to do this and sit and have a drink and some food before returning to the boat . A great day out .

Long day, but unique opportunity - Some confusion over pick up point but collected from hotel in the end. 8am pick up. 9.30 arrival at port for an hour boat trip. Then another coach to the top of the island to see the crater. Approx 45 mins free time at the crater which is enough, very hot, dusty and a little smelly. But not as bad as some reviews suggest. The volcano crater was really good to see and I'm glad I went. However it is an awful lot of travelling and a very long day for a quick visit. Mandraki is a beautiful little village and nice to visit. Some lovely little shops and tavernas, all reasonably priced. That said, there are other beautiful places with a lot less travel involved. Go, but in the cooler months. The heat is so intense in the summer with the added rising gasses of the volcano. The boat over to Nisyros was large and fairly comfortable, refreshment prices were very reasonable.

Worth the money - Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Would highly recommend, but, the bus journey to get to the boat was an hour and the air con wasn’t that great. Nysoris was lovely. The volcano visit was really rushed. We had 40 mins. If you wanted to go down to the crater to feel the vibrations and hear the hissing from the holes, then you would need to be quite fit to make it there and back with the time given. Been there, done it, wouldn’t do it again because of the long bus journeys there and back.
