A place to escape the crowd - bedugul provides a change of atmosphere from the hustle and bustle of southern Bali and change of temperature, from hot and humid to cool and moist.

A tour through Bali from south to north with many stops and sights - This was a very good tour for visiting north of Bali from Sanur with lots of stops on the way. We had a driver and a guide with us. Unfortunately we had not so nice weather with rainstorm and thunder. This was at the end of March. We would have hoped to have some kind of timetable to know how much time we had in different places. Tourist doesn´t know the distances and trafic, so it would have been nice to see all the places that was scheduled and some kind of timetable in each place. I think we run out of time at the end because we skipped the town of Singaraja and just drove through it. Overall a very good chance to get to see Bali and learn Balinese culture, manners, religion and beliefs.

Interesting and good to change from the crowded south - We were staying in Denpasar, but we decided to book this one day tour to visit the north of Bali. The tour was interesting and showed us a quieter and authentic side of the island quite different from the south. We could discover an awsome country, a waterfall, rice terraces, a nice dark sand beach and of course a temple. Even though the journey from Denpasar was quite long for just one day visit, it was worthy doing it. We had a very professional guide and also a good driver. The organization was excellent.

A good way to see the water temples... -
A good way to see the water temples that feature in all the adverts for Bali and to see the north shore, some waterfalls and some forests. Meal was reasonable and the coach was air conditioned, but Bali does get very hot. A few stop offs at lookouts for photos, but nothing spectacular to see.

A very pleasant days drive to he... -
A very pleasant days drive to he north of Bali. Saw lots of interesting scenery and rural views. There were only three on the tour and the guide stopped wherever we wanted to. The village market was interesting and colourful. the lunch location was idea but we got there late and not a lot of food was left but we didn't go hungry. Having the name Singaraja in the title is misleading as all we did was drive through Singaraja. I would have liked to have stopped in the centre of this city and had a bit of look around but you cant do everything in one day.

Hard to Contact - We scheduled our tour and the voucher said we needed to contact them ahead of time to confirm our reservation. We tried calling three times the day before our tour and no one picked up the phone. So we called the morning of and finally got should of them. They then said they weren't ready to take calls and to call back in an hour. So we cancelled our tour. I would have liked to see an email contact as well as a phone number attached to the voucher. That way they are able to answer questions about the tour without having to be in reaching distance of a phone.
