Indispensable and picturesque half-dry hiking to Bali’s largest waterfall - We were 3 adults and a child of 7 and the trip was exciting and very beautiful. We took the short (medium) trip and paid 125k IDR per adult. Many steps and sometimes smooth paths went down to the bottom of the valley, where the river flowed from the two different waterfalls, Sekumpul Waterfall and Hidden Waterfall. First we went and climbed to Hidden, where two of us bathed at the bottom of the waterfall. Then we went and climbed back to Sekumpul which is the largest on Bali with its 100 m height. Here we could get to the lake under the waterfall but not closer to the wind and the water whistled us very much, it was also well helped by the fact that there had been heavy rain in the days before our visit. During the whole trip our guide was very attentive, especially to our 7-year-old, as he also carried the most difficult passages. The tour was completed with a scooter ride back to the car for 25k IDR each. Fantastic experience that was a bit delayed but completely incredible. Advice: Shoe (with slipproof sole) Camera that can withstand water. Be in swimwear throughout the trip because you will definitely sweat on the trip, and then a cool deep is just nice.

Unforgettable experience - There are moments in life when your heart is racing and you feel something special, because both my wife and I feel it with this experience that we will remember all our lives. We booked the tour with our hotel and with private guide it was worth every rupee we paid. We have not been in high season, but we were recommended to go first thing and it was the best. We were in the first waterfalls we swam in them alone and the guide made us some special photos. More people came to the morning but we had already seen the 7 waterfalls. The guide apart from taking some pictures as if he were a real professional, explained the fauna, flora and made stops at the end in some stalls and invited us to several fruits in the area. For us it has been an incredible day.

This hike is worth it! - After reading reviews I had some concerns that the “medium” walk down to and up from the waterfall might be too difficult for me (68 y.o. with bilateral knee replacements and not in superb cardiovascular condition), but it was definitely do-able and wholly worthwhile. We bought tickets at the official booth and they included two guides for 4 of us. The start of the hike was a walk on a sloping downhill road (no cars). Then there were a series steep but well-constructed steps, some higher than a normal rise. Then there was a path with some rocks, a short shallow stream to cross (with a rope to hang onto) and at the end to get to the waterfall to swim, we had to walk over some larger and sometimes slippery but manageable rocks (the guide helped us avoid the slippery spots). The two waterfalls were beautiful and we swam at both. The hike back up was easier and quicker than I had imagined; the challenges were the relatively high steps on some stretches and the exertion, but there were many level places to stop and catch your breath. I highly recommend doing this hike especially if it is good weather (dry path) and your knees and physical condition are reasonably good. Just take your time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Waterfalls Sekumpul - Beautiful waterfalls. We booked the route of 1 1/2 and there are two of 3 waterfalls included. Our Driver Heri drove us there and on site you get then a guide to get to the waterfalls.Very many stairs that on the way back give many to deal with. The way there is very nice and very green everything. The falls are the highest in Bali at 100 meters, so it is definitely worth it.
